We're less than a month away now? I really hope they start releasing video footage soon. Car games all look pretty much the same in screens. Seeing it in motion though..thats a different story

Oh would you look at that...you mean Turn 10 actually showed their race track in an article about their race tracks? Who would have thought. Photorealistic... especially that last one. Launch is coming together nicely.
First two screens were unappealing, but the last three were pretty good. They got the look of the track on point with the exception of the trees in the background. Seriously, wow. Tree Guy needs to go. I thought I told the Forza team to fire him after the whole Bathurst fiasco. Terrible tree models. Terrible tree models everywhere. And yes, weather effects would be nice.

The video looks really good. Though it can look a bit overly artificial at times.
the formula racing car is the highlight of this batch. don't know which build this is from, environments still look like WIP. I'm more impressed with the gameplay footage to be honest.
The game definitely shines most in cockpit view (thank god), the lighting and reflections look great with great environments but regardless it cannot be denied that so far the racing genre is certainly not leading the charge in terms of showing off a new generation.

Showing show room models and sun rays from clouds is this is best they can do then sad. I can't wait to see gameplay of this game next month and hopefully lots of comparison.
I don't know really. Some screens do make me look like I'm amazed but others are just what you have already seen in some other games. The photorealistic touch of the scenery or the ground versus the digital buildings.
To the people complaining about the environments: what did you expect really? The track looks like that; dull and empty. That is because it is a racing track set up at an abandoned airfield. It´s not like there is going to be vegetation or random buildings in the middle of that field.
This is the problem with almost all real life racing tracks: they are not built for being pretty or interesting, but are built for driver safety and racing. That is why we have the fantasy tracks that always look as fantastic as possible since they aren´t held back by safety and regulations etc...
