Even though the major american sites are seemingly posting new videos of Forza Motorsport 5 every day, we still have to do with whatever Microsoft decided to let us small fry get, so enjoy this McLaren vidoc video.
Seriously, whenever the video edit jumps from the real car to the car in-game, it's almost uncanny. It looks almost real. Almost. It looks like it's offline CGI. But it isn't. On a technical level, I'd say this is the best looking game to date, not Ryse.

I agree MrWhite, especially considering this is doing everything at *three times* the pixel-pushing (124,416,000 vs 43,200,000 pixels/second). A very rough comparison, of course.

Honestly, I must say I'm very disappointed with the mods here regarding this fella. He does nothing but derail threads with his same persistent negative bollocks regarding the XB1 platform. The rules specifically state that no trolling is tolerated, yet this troll still breaths.

Anyway that video is stunning, and i agree the transition is very impressive.

It is simple to do 1080p on racing games. Cars going basically on circles than other genre. Ryse is 900p and fixed at 30fps but lot of detail and environment are great. If you see forza5 gameplay it is nothing special. Sun flare and reflections are the only thing I say is good.

only 200 cars , a handful of tracks , still no weather (night , rain , hail , etc...)
cars are still half a car .
its quite dissapointing .

Very true but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. Sounds more like you are judging the console instead of the game.

Ditto, they will inevitably get there but in the here and now that is a huge failing.
And don't get me started on the dlc content it is daylight robbery in a nutshell. If a game is not finished then complete it don't try selling half and then less than half later.

Not at all. There's a lot more going on. It's all about the detail in the models of those cars. The shaders in particular on the car paint is phenomenal.

It's a launch title. A huge franchise in MS's catalogue, and it's out on day one. That's good enough.

yeah its funny how people get so insecure about things. A general rule of thumb I've come to notice is the prettier the game the more stupid the comment from somebody who has an alliance with the other console.
How many tracks are confirmed with this? and you can still create your own paint designs ect right?...I mean that's something forza's always had over the competition.

It's a launch game. More cars and tracks are coming. Nuburgring is coming in Jan.
And to people saying this does not look impressive, are we watching the same videos?

Sure they're coming, if you want to pay $120 for this one single game. No thanks. I love the Forza series but I wouldn't buy into this one even if I was getting an X1. I'm sure the next one will be much better content wise.
