I'm sure this wont be the case but I don't think anyone could fail to be impressed by this. It seems 360 all this time hasn't really been pushed that hard, but now in the same sort of way that we saw PS2 harnessed that much more as time went on, devs are really working the hardware now. Halo4 looks to continue this
I guess it was always a case of not needing to push to such extraordinary levels and I suppose that's why certain PS3 exclusive games have displayed just that extra level of visual wow- because the devs had an especially good reason to push PS3's massive superiority here. I'm not so sure these days regarding that. Personally though Gears of War2 more than anything still impresses me and that's less about the tech and more the fantastic look of structures and general atmosphere- the Hive itself is absolutely stunning
This generations version of the excellent 16-bit Top Gear series of games. At least that's what it looks like. Could end up being very good. It certainly looks very good.
Is it 60fps ? One of the guy is an ex-codies dev lol. If this game becomes popular it is good fro playground games. May be they can make good racing games ?
The layouts better be good. They are showing very little. Don't like trailers such as dev dairy. basically an advertisment. Everyone wants to see gameplay, trailer not guy talking.

All trailers are advertisements. I'm pretty sure this is 30fps. That, along with the $50 (or was it $60?) season pass, will have me skipping this.

Haha! $60 season pass?? Where did you get that? They've all been $30 so far and I'm sure this one will be no different. I don't like it either but it's no reason to pass on a game. You simply have to judge the base content to see if it warrants a purchase. It's just another way for these greedy publishers to sell dlc to you. You bought Battlefield right? Did you buy the VIP pass or whatever they called it for that game? How was that any different?

60fps is ideal, but isnt Forza the only serious console racer or sim cade's this gen that is locked at 60fps? I honestly cant think of any others?

C'mon now that is complete crap you know perfectly well 30fps for a game like this is acceptable and it's a rock-stable 30fps I've yet to hear any complaints about it from people who've been able to play it.
We are not talking about a track racer this is a open world game with Forza 4 graphics and physics running and a dynamic day/night cycle running on the Xbox 360.
Please educate me as NFS: Most Wanted is 30fps and F1 2012 is 30fps which are both the major other racing games for now.

Well then you're comparing PC to console which is just pointless with the right machine you could run it at 120 fps or with a worse 30fps. You can't expect the Xbox 360 to keep up with the performance standards that can be set on modern gaming computers.
No, but there are 60fps racing games on consoles. It's not like it's an unheard of thing. I'm just saying: I don't like the fact that this is 30fps. What else is or isn't 30fps isn't going to change that.
I would be into this, being unique and being an exclusive.. but I'm not into the framerate.
