Forza Horizon gets collector, bonuses

Microsoft has released screens and a trailer to illustrate Forza Horizon Collector's Edition and preorder incentives. The collector will come with a steelbook, a 5 cars launch day pack and a VIP membership. Preorders will unlock a Horizon-themed 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 and one of the following: 2012 Aston Martin Virage, 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia, 2010 Volkswagen Golf R or 2010 Nissan 370Z.

Everything about Forza Horizon's marketing and packaging looks poorly conceived. The game itself has promise, but there's not much else to this consumer fleecing exercise...

This game is not part of the Forza Motorsport series, Forza Horizon is a separate series in the Forza franchise.
