Forza Motorsport 2 is back in video

We’ve been blessed with a lot of information concerning Forza Motorsport 2 lately and we’re given some more by Turn 10 in the latest pitpass. Last Thursday we discovered the official list of the 312 licensed cars, Che now confirms that Forza 2 won’t hit the shelves before May 29th in the US (so most probably the beginning of June for us Europeans). We have some new images to enjoy today as well as a 720p video replay of Mugello, a well-known track for Moto GP fans. The depth of field really is amazing and the mountains in the background look photorealistic. As time goes, Forza 2 seems to look better than ever!

BWAMMO! No complaining about jags please.. reflection maps can't be AA'd, the outlines of the models are AA'd as hell :)

It's almost like it looks better every time we see new pictures and movies! :D The background really pwnz GTHD. In GTHD the cars detail doesn't fit in with the detail of the world. In Forza 2, it's all exactly right :)

The game has literally gone from looking good to being Photo Realistic in my opinion. Absolutely stunning!!

it's looking sweet...it's released in Japan on the 24th of May and my local store normally sells games 2 days before they're meant to, so I hope to be playin' it on the 22nd :D
I've been waiting for a decent driving game for ages...

shit delayed ... grr!!! The demo better be here soon because of all this hyping I'm getting tired with the game. And the graphics do suck pretty hard actually ... some screens look marginally better then the original xbox version :/ That said, the gameplay looks pretty awesome and realistic from the little bit of movies I have seen already. But I can't help to think that the game could have been much much more if they hadn't bothered with silly features like the livery and the auction house. Also, a lot of sweet new rides are completely missing from the game. And what's up with the amount of circuits :s at first they said something like 30 and now it's three or something and they actually dropped a bunch of the old circuits :/ They just don't focus on the racing ... they focus on the customizing and looking cool part. Which sucks to me.

And prodygee I do believe you have no clue as to what GTHD is. It's just GT4 with better carmodels and a new map. and it's got an alpha version of the new physics engine GT5 is going to use. It's 'just' a testversion to see how gamers would respond to it. And to show of that the PS3 can actually output 1080p. Expect GT5's background and handling to be a LOT better then GT:HD ones. After all that game is still using the dated GT4 engine.

Anyway, hurry up with the game ... don't be assholes and keep hyping. Release the damn demo now!! :p

GTHD still wins on the car models, but thats to be expected, with its lack of damage etc, this is much more the overall package, i grew bored of GT at number 3, theyre not gonna change it, personally, im looking forward to DiRT and Toca Race Driver One more than this

yeah acm2000 same here. I feel they focused way too much on the ooh my ride looks cooler then yours part. They also neglected to add cockpit views or more circuits... . How could they have only added 3 cricuits??? I just don't get it. I'm seriously looking forward to Race Driver One. At least with DTM they understood that adding more circuits adds to the fun of the game. It's going to blow forza 2 away I think. But I still have high hopes for Forza 2. I just hope they didn't screw up in the details like last time ... man that menu sucked .. and I turned the music off after about an hour. So repetitive pfhh :/

like i said in the last forza info u gave,this is the most realistic looking game EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the whole thing is photo realisitic,the backgrounds and everything look so real

Ye i have seen that but i still goes slow lol, on the other forza videos there was a smaller version to download always around 40 mb, i can play that easily

The fact that you can play F2 using 3 xboxes and 3 displays simultanously is soo cool!
(but i'm afraid almost no one will ever be so fortunate to do this) :)

This again is still not the final polished build of the game and even when we get a picture of the final we all know that no matter how good a video/audio format nothing beats having the actual game on your HDTV with your 5.1/7.1 Surround Sound System.
