The incredible Bugatti Veyron will be in Forza Motorsport 3, and Turn 10 decided to release an almost 5 minutes long video showing how the car was integrated into the game.

Like i said, they've set themselves up with gloating about how amazing it looks.. so footage like on GT is always going to be jumped on. It doesnt help that the games a month away and they've only been showing screenshots of it in its picture mode.
Ofcourse none of this has any standing on the gameplay.. which like dargris49 said has always offered more.
how this is letdown to anyone is beyond me srsly...eot

Now everyone talks about trees and jaggies and whatever graphics features that are missing (skillfully ignoring the ones that ARE there)... Makes me sad how sad gaming has become :(
...But then I remember that Forza 3 is released next month and I will get to enjoy all the awesomeness for myself :D
It really is way more than just a car simulation, anyone even cared about the huge feature set and interegration of the community? I'm quite sure this is the standard following games will be judged with, just as much as any fps after Halo 2 was judged by its high standard.

Has everyone got blinkers on?
I don't care if I get flamed for this, I think it's about time people stopped following games blindly based on their heritage, and started using some fucking intellect for a change.
Sorry, just been down the pub. :o)

That's the problem with previews: all you get is the graphics and (sometimes) sound. This means that the most immediate judgment people make about a game will be its graphics, everything else comes second. Like here's a good question: does anyone understand how the progression/car upgrades are going to work? In a game like this, with a lot of cars and customization, that can be more important then whether the rocks in the background look like they're from cartoons or not (which they do; too rounded, not enough texture ;0 ).
If you have assists on then the difference between GT and Forza is pretty slim. I think GT series has better looking lighting and car models, while the Forza 3 game has better looking environments and the intrerior has better textures and details. But they both look good and neither one looks better to a degree that it is easy to overlook gameplay, which is what almost every fanboy on these threads seems to be doing.
Don't get me wrong now. I'm gonna buy GT5 day one for sure. It will be a great game, but anyone trying to bash on Forza simply seems to be showing their lack of appreciation for the best physics on any console.
Just my opinion. But I do agree with the comment that is was quite stupid of the turn 10 guy to call Forza 3 the best looking racing game on consoles. I'm guessing it was a MS idea, but still should have been much better worded.
BTW, I do praise the graphical achievements of Turn 10 here--but to ignore the faults of the graphics engine is as foolish as it is to ignore its excellent quality.
