Frostpunk's The Last Autmn expansion coming in January

The biggest expansion to date for Frostpunk will release January 21st has announced 11 bit studios. The Last Autmn wil offer players a new peception of the frostbitten landscapes since the DLC is a prlogue to the events of the main game. To help you in the battle against winter slowly taking over the British Empire, new buildings, technologies and Books of Law are included.

This is the last, whatever you want to call it (I'm sure someone can come up with something to put quotes around), new game I've played and it was a one-trick pony. The idea itself lent to being something new in the world of strategy and potentially a constantly living environment like age of empires or any world builder, but it doesn't. The only thing it does is stop when you out smart its system, rather than allow you to carry on in a thriving and growing world. Quite a disappointment.
