PS3

Sega released this batch of images and artworks of Full Auto 2, to be released with the PS3 later this year. Hopefully this game will be smoother than the 360 one...

Ps3 needs twisted metal black next gen..that game rocked.

I tried the demo of full auto on the xbox360..if this game can be better..could be fun for the ps3 crowd.

I always wondered, the game has the feature of reversing time , therefore you can avoid a crash..how does that play out on online mode? can you do that? when you crash, reverse? isn't that impossible? as it would affect every gamer who is playing that match?

I absolutely love Full Auto, and it's still regularly played in split screen with my nephew.

Multiplayer doesn't let you reverse time at all, so if you crash, that's pretty bad news. However, you respawn with a rolling start - handled in a really cool way, as the cam just pans away from the crash and your *new car* comes driving past the crash site and you regain control - so it's still a very smooth transistion.

The framerate isn't a huge deal in the original, but if they can smooth it out then that's cool. However, my wish list includes a little more distinct track designs, as it's extremely difficult to remember which one is which, and you end up playing on the same - like - three tracks over and over because you know that you know them. You might know some other track, but you never know if you do... er.. yeah.

There's that, and also I'd like a better single player "campaign". I don't care about a story or anything, but the progression is just a wee bit dull. Burnout went from great progression to sucky between 2 and 3, and it seems there's just no good model for racing games anymore. So yeah, fixy fixy. Or inventy inventy maybe.

Other than that I think it's a great game so, bring it on.

Full Auto, I believe would have been fairly well accepted if it hadn't come out after a much better game called Burnout.

I'm still interested to see what they've learned since their first game though.

I think the real reason Full Auto got so slagged off was two things. People expected it to handle like Burnout - which it doesn't, at all - and the presentation is so bland they could basically have skipped even naming it. I think the driving model works, and lining up with another car in the middle of a drift through a curve and blasting them with the shotgun is a "yeah!!"-moment of semi-epic proportions. There's a good game there, it just needs to.. dress better.

I'm kind of happy that this is going to PS3 because Full Auto 2 is shaping up to be..how can I say.....very shite compared to the original, graphics wise.

This doesn't matter because you have the Japenese market, which in fact these people like buying games with shite graphics, though the gameplay should be good, which makes it no problem to them.

These days if someone pays $600 US for a game console they should get atleast the same quality of game as the $400 US current Next Gen console leader.

Ive been on both sides of the fence for a while but alot of these games coming out for the PS3 aren't that spectacular especially when Sony shows CGI, and gamplay wise cannot make up for graphics.

CGI cutscenes are a thing of the PS1 generation why still use them? This is the Next Generation of gaming use the engines you have made, it makes the story more likable.

And how many more lies will Sony bring to the plate before and after launch.

BTW before I get flamed Jap/Asian RPG's might have good gameplay but I just can't stand the poor attempt of the artist's and game designer's skill, they still have older console's to show off crap.

Wow. Well, I thought full auto was kinda boring on 360, and it isn't poised to make me feel any better on ps3. Also, these screens look like xbox1 pics. What the eff is going on with developers these days? Where are the games that make you wonder why other games don't look as good? Why are all the games coming out so underwhelming in the graphics department? Someone should complain, oh wait,...I AM!!!
