Sega released this trailer of the action-racer Full Auto. It's nice to see something new from this game once in a while, and with a demo being released with OXM UK tomorrow, there's a chance something fun will pop up on the Market Place soon. At least I hope it will.

Say it ain't so! I've been following this game for quite a while and it looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to it.

If I recall correctly, early impressions from journalists at E3 and other events have been quite positive....

I dono, I find that pretty hard to believe as all the gameplay videos I've seen look like a lot of fun. I realize the graphics aren't on the same level as PGR3 but then try crashing your car in PGR3 if you want to see unrealistic gaming.

I've read the tech papers for their physics engine in Full Auto and it leads me to belive that this game may be a diamond in the rough. Hopefully a demo appears on Marketplace (or in OXM) so we can try it out for ourselves.

Yeah, here's another mans opinion:

I got the demo today with O360MUK

It's going to be a BLAST on Live I can tell you that much. Burnout Revenge with weapons. Only gripes were slowdown (which i'm guessing will be locked at 60FPS for release) and the game looks last gen at SDTV

So, we all know it doesn't look that impressive judging from the first look. But to me, all those moving objects makes it impressive after a while, alot of stuff going on at the same time.

I don't have high expectations on this one, but I won't loose faith because of a lousy demo. There's still some months left for them to fix the game.

People were really loving the gameplay during E3. I'm not that interested about the graphics right now, but I won't even look at that game if they release it with framerate problems.

Well, impressions around the net have been ranging from pretty positive to outspoken excitement based on the E3 demo of this, and that's ancient now, so I'll just keep hoping that this turns out cool. With all due respect, I don't really trust Snoopers' judgement after his ripping into PDZ a while ago, although I don't doubt he honestly hates both.

I don't hate PDZ. I just said the solo-mode was terrible. And I'm glad to see that some american (and a lot of european) reviews agreed with this (read the 1up article). Concerning Full Auto, I just tried the demo. And what I tried was real bad. You have the right of not trusting me, but I honestly think that I'm not a biased person. I don't have any reason to "hate" games, I just play them and enjoy them or not.

And you're totally right. I even assume that this demo is the X05 version of the game, telling by the framerate issues. But I have to admit that I don't expect big revolutions either. The demo really plays cheap, and that's usually not the kind of "detail" that you can change in two months.

I just got done playing the playable demo (on the 360) of Full Auto. This game is so much fun! You get two cars. Both muscle looking, one red one yellow. The red one has missles and machine guns, and the yellow one has a shot gun and I think missles also. I love this magazine. Major improvement. By the way, the Xbox 360 Isn't mine. It's a friend of mines. He is addicted to WOW and let me borrow it for a couple days.

I've played the demo at least a dozen times today. While I'd say the graphics aren't exactly next gen.. the destructable environments are insane enough to make it look pretty good when the action gets hectic. That said though, I do agree that the demo falls short on many aspects. It "feels" very old, like it dates back from E3 or something. There ARE frame rate issues, and glitches (I fell off the track once), but I have every bit of faith that they will have tweaked it a lot before it gets released - there is a reason why they delayed it you know. If you can overlook these short comings (I do believe it was a slight mistake of them to release the demo in this state) - it is overall quite a fun experience, and can only get better when retail hits.

I thought it was evident just by looking at the game that it sucks.
Jeez a couple weeks into the 360's life and tripe is already creeping onto it. I hate developers that just fish for a quick buck.

I agree with snoopers, and I haven't played the game, but just by looking at all the videos. It looked very cheap, and once I saw a dev interview and they seem to be weird, VERY weird........not manly enough so you understand........really.

What I think I'll like about FULL AUTO is that it takes some elements of BURNOUT, adds a dash more environmental destruction (if I remember you get bonus for causing major destruction), and throw in a can of WHOOP A$$ guns.. how bad could it be?

NO NO and NO. The Forza demo was great. That's how the game is, it was basically untouched. They upped the graphics, and lowered a little bit the simulation feel. But it's basically unchanged. It didn't suck.
