Game of Thrones is back in the video game world thanks to Telltale Games, the makers of The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us series. The teaser is short by definition, but it's a start.
I hope this stuff is good. Honestly, I feel like Telltale has been reallllllll crummy lately. I liked some of Wolf Within or whatever it was called, but I HATED Walking Dead (characters were all complete idiots, and not at all believable, the illusion of choice was maddening, and I could not stand the stupidity of the protag). I don't think the writing is nearly as good in those titles as people seem to think, and I think WD was just not interesting enough to overcome that (at least Wolf was a bit better written and had a much more interesting premise). I love the show and the books so I'm hoping they can finally pull this stuff off. I'm just not sure.
And their engine needs to be brought out back and put down. It's a garbage engine. Looks like it's seen some minor improvements but I'm a little tired of the lackluster animation capabilities in character focused titles like this from Telltale.
