Xbox 360

While waiting for my own gameplay videos, unfortunately not until monday at best, here is a video showing some of the characters on Ninety Nine Nights in action. There is no sound, and the aspect ratio is all kind of wrong, but it's still watchable and enjoyable.

Yea not much can be done about the forest this game is using the upgraded engine from a last gen title (kingdom under fire)

I'm dying to see the kingdom under fire rpg which they say is getting its own engine. Nonetheless thats some amazing realtime graphics. Like when asphar, inphyy and that other guy are in the forest and when myifee is with that bald headed guy. One thing that strikes me as weird is myifee's running speed, but its no big deal I guess.

Wow, I'm very impressed with that! I can't wait to see high res videos with sound.

I still think people need to take a look at the KUF and Dynasty Warriors games from this gen to see just how much of an improvement NNN really is.

Oh i know there is a big difference between this and kuf for example, but you can notice there are similarities with the engines like trees in the far off distance and the way the levels are setup.

Not completely blind though I know this game visually massacres kuf or dynasty warriors :)

Multiplayer was never planned for the Japanese release but Miziguchi said something about it possibly being in the Western release (and patched into the Japanese version)

Nah, no multiplayer anymore. It will be for the KUF A-RPG.

Just played through the 6th level with Inphy. So far I'm quite enjoying the game. It's as expected quite repetitive, but there is enough different enemies that it's not a shore. More tomorrow with some videos.

Hey Blim, is the story presentation, and voice acting as well as cutscene details good? I've been on the gamefaqs boards, and lot of mix opinions about the story as well as VAs.

Yeah I saw your post on NeoGAF in that other morons thread. Sounds alright, worth a rental at least.

I have to say the cutscenes are a mixed bag. They are mostly very well animated, but there is basically no lipsync at all. And they sometimes have slowdowns and some graphical glitches.
The seiyuu so far are not too bad, I'm not a big fan of Asphaar's voice.
