Before E3, Crytek revealed that their project titled Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age became Hunt: Showdown, a PvP monster hunter game. The title debuted last week at E3 but behind closed doors so today Crytek has released 10 minutes of gameplay footage commented by Creative Director Magnus Larbrant and Level Design Director Chris Auty.

the lighting is super impressive, it creates the perfect setting like crysis did back in the day.

Too bad the performance is beyond pathetic and terrible, even for alpha state.

wait for the final product, the performance issues will be fixed suerly... if Crytek is something capable of, than it is creating stunning visuals

the AADS split second zoom slowdown, the horrible temporal motion blur, the bad feel of "cinematic 24fps", it seems tied to the engine, like a bad take on cryengine, like that is anything new.

This looks like an excellent game to showcase HDR. Too bad it apparently's gonna be online-only PvP without SP campaign.

Crytek games look great from a visual point, too bad as games they are mostly rubbish.

Oh yea ? Looks like Slender to me, well... on my shitty monitor that is. No way telling if this has good graphics or not. But since this is Crytek i'll give'em the benefit of doubt. Too bad gameplay looks shite, movement is oh so slow...
