Gamersyde Diaries: Episode 5

We're not going to lie to you, we've gone through hell with this fifth episode of Gamersyde Diaries. Not much to talk about in the gaming news world, no real help from the publishers either, several technical problems on the row, in short, it was no piece of cake. But enough with all the whining, the show is here now and for good.


On today's menu, a report on the most important event of the past few weeks: the PS3 launch in France. Also included a preview of Shadowrun, would-be candidate for the title of best online FPS for console owners and eventually a peek at some of the games coming to the new Games For Windows platform: Halo 2 Vista, Age of Conan (a MMO also coming to 360) and World in Conflict, the new RTS from the makers of Ground Control. Enjoy!

That was Snoopers' effort for the most part, and Pipomantis too. I don't have much to claim credit for in this GSD.

Good job snoop and pipo. none of the games really interested me this time, but still an entertaining show.

Very, very good. It was sooo good to see the Eifel Tower again, I was there about 3 days ago with a few friends. Paris blew me away, again... love it.

I think I'm gonna download the 720p version just to see the Tower blinking again in HD. You guys rock! :D

Now, back watching the GSD... ^^

Good show well done guys lacking on content but it is a dull time for games.

lol at that one guy who turned up saw Xbox boat before but funny to see again hehe.

I was hoping to see more of World in Conflict but was only a little segment looks set to be an awesome Rts Nuclear Explosion has to be the best in game to date.

OUCH, it's safe to say that was a disaster for Sony and very few people are interested. I almost laughed when the Xboat arrived! That was some quick thinking on Microsoft's part, really bewildering. It seems Sony really likes to stick it to Europe, and this just proved it. I think Sony deserves the anger.

Awesome show anyway, and even without that much game content, the Shadowrun stuff was solid. Your preview of it dealt with the bad and good things about the game. And could Age of Conan be a contender for WoW beater? I think so, having castles is awesome. That combat system was confusing to understand, though.

It's been a long while since the last episode but you guys always deliver :).
