As you know, Ubidays are now over but we still have a lot of cool things to release, and it's a perfect time for us to try our new version of Gamersyde Diaries. From now on, we will release every Diaries separately, one episode a game, instead of waiting months to gather enough content for a 30 minutes show. The flavor will of course remain the same, even if we changed some little things. So, get used to see Gamersyde Diaries released on a much more regular basis, since this new version is way easier to produce. And let's start righ now with Haze, Free Radical's controversial FPS we've had the chance to see two days ago. Enjoy the show !
Update: 640 version added.

As for Haze.........I don't see anything that would make this game anywhere near great. They have A LOT to work for it to get there, because right now it looks way too average for my liking, for the genre.
Have to agree Lebato graphics are really poor and for me i see nothing that grabs me people are saying looks as good as Crysis what a load of trollop. As it stands at moment im not really fussed its a PS3 timed exclusive did i read this game was touted to steal some shine from Halo 3. ?
Is there going to be a BIA Diary also. ?
I hope it comes out this year with PS3 at the same time. 2008 is gonna have more games becomes most of them have been delayed.
Assassins Creed, DMC4, Dark Sector, Alan Wake...etc.
The ones that is VERY unsure is Mass Effect and Assassins Creed, which is top of my best buy list.
I for one dont care for Haze, as long as it comes out on the 360 soon.
Haze looks really interesting to me.all those HUD and visor things are cool and visual effects caused by drug looks really nice while vehicle sequence doesn't.
I hope 360 version looks as good as this 'cause i don't have any plan to own PS3.
Really well produced as well... Top marks!
There is something natural and spontanious - but also artistic and classy - about GSD. Perhaps it's a weird pre-defined notion I have about france and the french language brought on by your movie export, but it still gives the show a cultural authencity that's lacking from big budget, hair product driven slime-fests like IGN's video offerings.
Never resort to speaking english or making it seem more set up. The way reflections of the demo and actual footage on screen matched here made your own experience really powerful for us (me) as viewers, and if that's a result of the snack-sized way of doing the show then that's how it definitely should stay from now on. It's about "mere mortals" reacting to experiences and telling it first hand, and that really worked great here.
I really don't know how to phrase it to make it sound more significant than any other form of compliments I can give, nor can I put suitably cyber ninja powerful adjectives into a sentence that'll act as an appropriate vessel on an expedition into your hearts, Blim, Snoopers, Pipo and everyone else involved with GSD.
The only thing I can resort to is to put it simply and plainly in the hopes that it still carries with it the sincerity and significance I want it to convey;
I think your show is great.
The reason i want this game is for the 4 COOP player thru the actual SP experience. The only other one that have that is RB6V...
I really liked the last level where you take the helmet off and actually see the brutality and disturbing sight of death and killing someone.
Whereas back with the helmet it's like a drug addicts mind, everything is beautiful and no blood happens when you kill people.
Great diary and thanks for that, summed up the game so far.
I really like this approach you guys took with single diaries.
it's better than reading previews, just to watch and get a preview of the game and impressions.
Good stuff!
Great video. Stay cool, guys. And I like your new hair cut, Snoopers.
The honesty at times was so awesome!
I saw some people raving about Haze on a few other forums, but from this I don't particularly see anything amazing. Interesting visual effects though when he had his helmet off.
