Xbox 360

We went back to the Ubisoft booth to shoot a walkthrough of the famous Kinshasah level of Splinter Cell Double Agent, now in integrality. The build was much more advanced than the one we saw at E3, and the framerate problems we experienced back then are now gone for good. We also discovered a new feature, "Trust", which indicates during the game how much your employers trust in you, depending on the choices you make (saving innocents or not, skipping objectives etc). Finally, we had a quick overview of some new maps of the final game, and those who feel disturbed by the odd settings of the Kinshasah level can relax, there are a lot of different environnements, and it's more than ever about using gadgets, sneaking and hiding.

A big thanks to Thomas Leroux (Ubi Annecy) for his time and his skills.

I think there is so many small details that a off screen cam cant really pick up them all up.

In terms of realism, SC is the way to go. I love the part where he crawls under the truck and uses it for transportation. So cool. However, I also enjoy the MGS series for its art direction, story and characters. Both games are awesome for different reasons.

Absolutely amazing. The texture work on Sam is second only to Fight Night from the look of it!

Is there any benefit to sliding his glasses up or is it just a little easter egg?

I must agree somehow on this. Sam is just running around. I supppose this level is just a part of a bigger picture.

Looks pretty great. Only a few spots were unpolished like the room with the neck-hold was lacking lightmaps. Its stuff like that why they dont want you to uncontrollably capture their games.

Sure puts GRAW to shame what comes to graphics.. I just hope they can keep that level of quality through and through.

Did you guys notice that when sam take off the sunglasses and the whole screen actually gets brighter? When he put it back on...it gets darker.
The sweats on sam..hmm..details.

Nice video, thanks. One question though - near the end of the mission the trust meter shows the NSA wavering back and forth without actually going anywhere. Is this an indication of how much trust you'll gain if you accomplish the current objective shown in the bottom left corner?

Edit: And 20 seconds on, it looks like it is. Oops, should probably watch the whole video first rather than ask questions as they occur to me.

I hate to say it but i expected more from the graphics, the lightning was not that great and the textures on the enviroments where awful just plain bad, and im guessing ubisoft are saying that they will put in high res textures in the final version, just like they promised for ghost recon and we all remember the bland textures in that game (unless you are a rabid fanboy), but even with the crappy textures ghost recon was still a very pretty game but it did pale in comparsion to the pc version. But i know this game will own bigtime like all splinter cell games and im really looking forward to it let's just hope they fix the pathetic difficulty level that has plaged the last 2 games i want this one to be every bit as hard and unforgiving as the first game.

still the same bad textures from E3. I really was hoping they were gonna fix that. On the bright side the other levels they showed look really nice.
