Midway released this great trailer for Stranglehold, looking really really impressive. In fact, I've never been interested in this game, until now. They've really improved the graphics during the last months!

Nonetheless, this game looks pretty damn good!
Have you not seen the gameplay trailer where the whole bar/café is smashed into pieces at the end of the trailer, that totally sold me out, simply awesome stuff!
And the game has been much improved since I saw it last time. The AI still doesn't look too bright though. I count four guys standing in line on one scene. :D
Simple shooting? Did you guys even watch the trailer? Diving onto trolleys, spinning back and shooting the opposite direction while it's still rolling, jumping onto chandeliers and volleying off onto higher platforms while surprising the enemy behind a pillar.. massive destructive environments... signature john woo slow motion shoot dodges, it doesn't look like you can get any closer to a crazy HK action flick than this game! Can you tell I'm excited? lol

well, i wouldn't call it simple shooting hanging from a chandeleer or sliding down a rail. Dont know what games you have played but it seems like i missed a few...
After playing Max Payne this is just simple copy klone with a stupid main character (yeah I know he's a big kung fu hero, but dude, the man is chubby, I don't like chubby hero's... and yes, I didn't like Max Payne 2)

Games like this have the very realistic opportunity to be far superior to their silverscreen counterparts. Go JOHN WOO and cast!
