Last E3, Focus unveiled a new demo behind closed doors, everyone is now able to see those 16 minutes of uncut gameplay of A Plague Tale: Innocence, Asobo Studio's adventure game. The sequence shows a nice art direction as Amicia and her young brother Hugo cut a path through a land filled with rats and blood due to the Hundred Years' War going on between France and England. The title will launch in 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Beautiful atmosphere and pretty intriguing concept! I was actually thinking about Day's Gone with its hordes when seeing all the rats, but I have got to say, this is more intriguing conceptually and narratively.

Stupid title is stupid... A Plague Tale ? Really ? As much as I like the concept, that looked awfully boring to play. There's potential, no doubt about it, but if gameplay only revolves around staying in the light to evade rat hordes and stealth to avoid enemy soldiers this wont do it for me. Hope the next bit they'll show will be more interesting...

yeah, not really seeing much here that's interesting. i found it pretty funny that you can stealth around and avoid enemies...while carrying a lit torch. lol. that's either really forgiving mechanics or thick as mud AI.

Yea i noticed too. Was hoping to see some exploring, riddles or some coop elements similar to Brothers throughout the stream but the presentation left me quite unsatisfied...

Not saying the game is boring. Could be good. The bit they chose to showcase was though. Hope it's better than that.

They are showing the basics, i assume it gets more complex as it goes on. I still liked the footage though

It's not a high budget game so if you set your expectations right this could be really good. I like that's not just stealth and puzzles but you can also take down a few enemies. A 5-6 hour game like this sounds great to me. Do we know the price? I imagine is not 60

good lighting and landscape detail. it looks pretty mellow but sometimes mellow games do turn out to be sleeper hits. good presentation to say the least. i'd like to see some complex puzzles with the mechanics.
