Cool ideas of the exo suit, very Elysium, but went overboard to copy off Titanfall and Crysis into one thing.

Outside movement and character creation, i didnt like anything about it.

I really do not care for this hyper Sci-fi theme.

I think it's pretty short cited to denounce it a "copy". I mean every thing is a "copy" in one way or another. Also who cares if they had copied this feature or that mechanic?

The movement is more controlled than Titanfall. Frankly I like the depth of customization. No more cookie cutter builds, you can really load out to your particular strengths. I like the map setups and the fact that you can't choke point things anymore. Scorestreaks seem much more balanced. Handling and combat looks tight. There's clearly advantages/disadvantages to boosting. You want to be tactical about it, otherwise as the game points out...you're skeet.

Titanfall & Crysis hardly invented the mechanics that are you accusing Sledgehammer of copying. It's just short cited & pointlessly petty to assume you know who had what ideas when or who copied who.

I don't know, I think it may be fair criticism when you get up on stage touting "innovation," and then show a patchwork of other people's ideas. Although, you're right about one thing: those games didn't invent those mechanics. TitanFall's wall-running mechanic is functionally very similar to Brink.

Add BF4 to the list: that's definitely levelution.

Isn't this the way of things, when the team is relatively new to the genre? They're noobs and they're just figuring out what works and what doesn't. This doesn't look terrible for their first outing. Hardly. Although I'm sure working on previous IW titles has helped get them "up to speed."

Movement looks fun, but I'm pretty turned off by the customization and score-streak systems. I'll be skipping this one. I was falling in love with the movement but there are still too many fundamentally flawed concepts lurking about.

I dont see much Crysis copy though since Crysis has speed, armor, cloak and strength all in one for everyone to use anytime.
Only thing i seen in this one that Exo can do is the super jump (double jump at that like titanfall) and cloak which i assume is a ability (perk) you have to pick to be able to use.

It has cloak, four directional dashing, a "slam" move, and a bunch of other "enhancements."

It's definitely neither.. but I do think Crysis was probably a source of inspiration. It's further removed from TitanFall. There's no parkour here. TitanFall is just wall-running and double jumps.

Cloak is in COD but is it a perk or is it always there for everyone to use it anytime? thats the difference i meant.
And air stomp is in Crysis 2 and 3 as well, but only thing i saw they added is the dash. Unless they add super speed in there too which i doubt it.

Its obvious they took insperations, small bits here and there and combined it into their own, but its hard not to mention Crysis and Titanfall when it comes to this CODs movement.

I for one dont mind, i always like good mobility in shooters, cool stuff.

Do any of those games feature multi-directional dashing? Because no*, they don't. I'm not seeing the TitanFall at all. Ya know.. other than the obvious: TitanFall looks like an enhanced Call of Duty itself.

*Unless Titans count, but that's a different world of movement all together.

I don't see levelution the way bf4 uses it. Maybe you're referring to the one level they demonstrated has a tsunami hit the outside occasionally? The level isn't actually changing per-se. But then again current cod maps already do stuff like that.

kinda...it was rather static. You blew up a wall in the same place in the same way every time.

The cloak is a exo-mod you can put on there with limited use (limited by your battery capacity). There's increased armor, there's general speed, there's an increased dash, jump, etc. Lots of things. As always, i expect there'll be a Hardcore Mode, which will remove point-streak bonuses etc. I really like the arsenal options though. I like the new grenades and gun modifications that can be done. The tac-19 actually looks more balanced here than in previous editions. The gameplay I watched elsewhere definitely proved the shotgun HAD to be close or range or it was useless and had reduced effect against heavy armor.

It's a breath of fresh air for COD. Is it anything totally innovative, not really...but almost any FPS i can find traces back to good ole Q3 and the like. So, if you like COD and want something new to the series, GOOD NEWS EVERYONE. If you've not been a fan of COD and are looking for something groundbreaking to turn you into a fan from a hater...eh, probably wont do it for ya.

My biggest hope for this game: LONGER CAMPAIGN. Ghosts, while cool, the campaign was incredibly easy and incredibly short.
