Developer Diary PS4 Xbox One

Bungie gives us a new look at Destiny: Rise of Iron with this new video documentary. Also a trailer for Destiny: The Collection, which contains the base game and all the extra contents including the Rise of Iron chapter. Both will release on September 20.

Hmm......I may give them another chance. Anyone on Gamersyde still playing? I have vanilla.

I joined in at The Taken King phase and I can say that I am having a ton of fun. This game could have so easily been a game of the generation contender if it had more realised ambition, something in the way of a Fallout-Destiny hybrid would have been perfect. Give me the design philosophy of a fallout with their open world go anywhere start your own quest structure and the world design and gameplay of destiny.

In actuality Destiny gameplay blended with any other successful western RPG would have been a dream. Mass Effect and Destiny oolahlah probably a better fit than even fallout.

Ironically Bungie probably had too much ambition the MMORPG approach was an attempt to please all sides but it would have been a better game as an RPG Shooter in the vain of a Mass Effect but First Person.
