looking forward to it though.
Atleast the camera stays in one type of view and still keeps that immersive feeling of being first person. But when you constantly get in and out of views it breaks all that design and feeling and doesnt know what the hell it wants to be.
But i agree it will give devs more work time but i dont it would be too much and it was praised by alot of players, i guess i am not so much into it.
I mean look at Battlefront and GTA5, with one button you get to choose your views quickly and everything works out fine. The animations for the character is there or else we wouldnt get 3rd person view to see it.
They could just re-position the camera to a traditional over the shoulder like a shooter. Other than running, walking and crouching there isnt any out of the ordinary animations needed.
The only thing however i can think of is items picking and holding them, thats the tough part, thats what they have to work on to make sure Jensen actually holds on to the items when he moves them around which i doubt it will be something important since its not a platform puzzle game.
Just saying, seeing games like Battlefront, GTA5, Crysis 1 and 2 3rd person mods, its great to have an option and that more FPS games should have it IF devs put much effort into their normal animation movements.
