Video PS3

We are just out of a presentation of the highly promising MotorStorm Apocalypse, where we got to discuss for a long time with the developers of the game, who happen to like our site quite a bit. And after much bragging about our shiny new camera, we manage to botch up our videos by opening the iris too much, having quite a bit too much white in the video. Sorry about that guys, but we sure had a lot of fun playing that one.
Update 2: Added a second video this time from the showfloor demo, showing the E3 demo track.

Wow, I have to admit that it has pretty nice track deformation.

PSP, right ?
The controls seem to be those frustratingly difficult to control(like Flatout), and it's the same if you play with the d-pad or the analog...

What's the objective of this game, anyway ?

Motor Storm has always been awesome and was THE revival of arcade racing for me. I never played a Racing game as much as Motor Storm : PR. And I still love to play it.
Even if Apocalypse was just some kind of map-pack for Motor Storm, I would still buy it, but with those track deformations it shows, that it will be much more.
I am really looking foreward to it. Maybe more than to any other game.

Motorstorm has always been one of my favorite franchises on the PS3. Not only is it great to look at with wonderfully designed eye candy tracks, but the gameplay (while very frustrating at times) is addicting and fun as well.

I was worried this game was gonna lose the offroad spirit of the first two games but this video is starting to show more promise. As long as they can keep the terrian reasonably varied and force us to spend too much time on pavement then I will be much more happy about the game.

Either way, I'm very interested in how this turns out.

I thought the first one really nailed the look of the environments. Great art direction and the overall look was fantastic. Having recently bought PR I was a bit disappointed in it graphically. I think with the wide variety in environments they didn't really master any of them particularly well. Now this looks more focused and really quite good. Looking forward to playing in 3D too.

I could imagine a level like this in Half Life 3
Well done on the environmental effects, almost seems wasted on a racing game

Reminds me of Carmageddon... how i miss that series. They could make a new Carmageddon and it would be amazing if it was anything like this!!

Dont have a PS3, but im tempted to get one just to play this!

MotorStorm is my favourite arcade racing game this gen (mix of Burnout and Smugglers Run). I was worried about new settings but after two gameplay videos I like what I'm seeing. For pre-alpha this looks really great. I wonder what will happen in the end of the game... it will be a blast for sure. And new environment is really refreshing for the series.

But still after playing Arctic Edge on PSP (probably my favourite MotorStorm, maybe because I love snow levels in video games) I really hope we will see snow MotorStorm on PS3 in the future. Environmental destruction in arctic/snow levels will be awesome (crashing icebergs, avalanches, collapsing ice caves, eruption melting snow etc.).

It's amazing how much stuff is going on here, really impressive, it does better then any other racing game so far, but to me this is not really Motorstorm anymore, it looks really good anyway but imo it's not what it was supposed to be.
