Best "next gen" PES ever, still leaves it a long way behind Fifa though IMO.

True that. While the gameplay in the demo was improved, everything else has gone 2 steps back. First I thought I've downloaded a resident evil demo, judging by the player faces.

FIFA13 it is.

Word coming out of gamescom is they have fucked the shooting up yet again after it being so good in Demo 1

LOL yeah. And to think, some people actually believe PES has the more realistic faces of the two games.
Oh, and can someone explain to me why Robben has a blond afro in that picture?

I agree with what is said, this demo was the best PES since the introduction of the PS3 & X360. However, that being said, it is still indeed far behind FIFA.

PES had the most accurate faces for a long time, then EA invested in the face scanning / 3d modelling tech, which took a couple of years to be properly utilised and now it looks stunning, and the whole time PES stuck to the whole create a 2d texture from a photo, cut, downscale the quality, paste onto the head, done...

What I dont like about neither PES nor Fifa is that you have to press the 'pass'-button too long to perform hard passes, which makes one-touch football ála Barca impossible to play.

Thats why I liked the old PESs. The passing ang shooting bars were charging quicker back then.

In this very moment I realize that PES should be called PEF. What a disgrace calling it soccer....

Well, the game is mainly sold in Europe I guess, so Konami should at least give it its proper name...
( I have no idea how the Japanese call football/soccer. Maybe something like sokeru and just maybe thats where the name came from. Or is it still called winning eleven over there? Confused!)

P.S. Just as you should not believe someone who calls him/herself "cutegirl18" on the internet beeing an 18-year old cute girl, you should not believe me beeing a redneck...

Out of interest, I googled the Japanese word for football/soccer.
They call it Sakká? (read: sucker [no joke])
I take that for an excuse...

Actually it's very easy, I play on all manual and using the slider settings raise the power bar slider to 58...
