For an UE3 game, this looks so different from what I got used to, with The exception of Mirror's Edge, which had a different lighting engine than the one in The UE3. It looks nice.
people should know by now already that UE is what you do with it. If you are doing a fps and it looks like any other shooter outhere, you are not tryin' enough.

Consider me interested. Coming from an indie studio though i'm a bit worried that this might take longer than everyone's expecting.

I think I got a boner from the description.

Nice Alien trailer vibe they got going, and the roguelike aspects combined with FULL BODY AWARENESS got me (and IRAIPT0IR if he's here) wet.

Maybe changing your name to blindwing would be an idea
Didn't you see the part where the character is holding that camera thing?

80s horror? Does that mean we should expect some cheesey-ness?

The obvious game to compare this to is Dead Space 3, which uses the same engine I believe.
It's nice that this game will have some punishment and a bigger emphasis on survival.
However if we compare these environments to Dead Space 3, it's really lacking.
I can't help but notice that most things look too clean and too empty for a survival game.

Looks interesting. Kinda reminds me of the movie Moon. Too bad for PC only, as I will never be able to play it...

lighting can look similar, but no. Dead Space uses its own internal engine.

You ant a game that looks artsyle and visually similar (engine&lighting): futuremark's shattered horizon, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4tpUcpycqY

I'd probably say terrible nonsense if I say that it looks like a DeadSpace

Yeah but Shattered Horizon's purpose was just being a benchmark game.
It was cold and sterile too.
For this game to be scary, how well can that be achieved with something so empty?
