I can`t wait for this to come out to be honest. I recently started to play Ico again and the visuals were that bad on my ps3, that my eyes felt as though they were bleeding!
I`m looking forward to actually finishing Ico, (no I didn`t complete it originally), and as far as Shadow of the Colossus goes, I`ve never even played it, so it should be worth every penny.
This is the only HD collection i really care about. 2 FANTASTIC games, a framerate that can finally keep up with the creative vision, and in 3D. Bring it on.

I was thinking the same thing. I understand wanting to keep the game as close to original as possible but I kinda wish they could bump up the contrast while they update the visuals.
They should redo these games. 3D support is not needed lol for a PS2 games lol. But yeah must have these classics in my collection. I never played ICO.
It looks fine but what you can't see is the animation. The devs were too lazy to improve it so that it's 60fps, which to me means no buy. See I've played SOTC in 1080p on PCSX2 and it only looks good until you start moving and those jagged animations are still there. At least on PCSX2 you can make the graphics run at 150% speed, which works wonders.

They've actually bumped up the resolution of the textures slightly too. Or tiled them much smaller so things look less blurry.
It's a decent HD remake. Bearing in mind HD is simply a term associated with the resolution of the screen itself, not neccessarily the assets.

ok, it's not such a lovely remake like Ocarina of Time 3DS or Halo Anniversary (call it HD-port if you like to, no prob), but imo higher resolution and less flickering already adds a lot to these two nice games :)
