i'm finding it really hard to care about this. it's clearly changed fundamental aspects of it's gameplay. but it's also not changed enough to look different enough from their past entries. i mean, i don't know about anyone else, but the last thing i wanted from a new AC after a 2 year absence is a bigger, emptier world to explore. even the story elements seem uninteresting and the voice work and lip syncing is poor too. it just seems like a poor return for the franchise. but i'm sure it'll sell gangbusters.

as it should be! its an ancient egypt, man, there cannot be only "smaller, filled" Alexandria, as it was for Paris in Unity for example.
all i know is syndicate turned into a chore because the streets were too wide to traverse in a quick and fun manner. they now have a huge empty desert to traverse, which sounds about as fun as...well...slowly walking across a desert. lol

btw we still didnt see gameplay in huge sities, so maybe there will be enouth space for parkour. i think sities there will be like rome in brotherhood, where horse and parkour were 50\50 in terms of traverse
p.s. dunno, carriage riding were pretty fun for me

the one i saw a few weeks back where he got bonked on the head and basically went on a convoluted fetch quest talking to badly voiced children in a pyramid didn't fill me with hope.
I don't know about ya'll but 'm super hyped about this game. I have a feeling they're gonna revive "the First Civilization" storyarch. It's what made me a fan of Assassin's Creed games in the first place.
