We had anticipated it, but this Gamescom is the worse one yet in terms of actually new content we could film or capture. Still, a few games are there for us to play and show you guys, so let's start with WRC 7 and this first video with a few more to follow.
Update: 4 videos added.

We've had appointments all day, during which we've been able to either get direct feed footage or off-screen gameplay. 3 of us there and guess what, when we all have appointments from 9am to 7pm, there is only so much we can do to prepare videos and upload them. Which is basically why we're still working now to bring you some footage while all we truly want is get some sleep. Did I mention that we only have one working PC to edit and encode videos? What lazy bastards we are, truly, incompetent even I might add.
And by the way, you're welcome.
Don't let others' ignorance disturb you, I feel it's better to teach why things are the way they are than to frustrate yourself with what they say. Though I do get it can get very annoying sometimes.
I hope you guys rest well, that is what's important. Who gives a shit if a video is upload now or 8 hours later, as long as it is uploaded eventually. So don't burn yourselves out and try to rest properly. I'm sure most people don't care if you guys upload the videos after Gamescom has ended.
The reason why Gamersyde has great quality videos in the first place is because they don't grab the videos from YouTube, which frankly has a very bad quality that just kills all the detail. The reason why you can find them in other sites is because those people don't give a fuck about quality.
YouTube has such a bad quality that to even shown a 720p video in good quality, it's better to upload it as if it was 2160p (4K) video and watch it at that resolution. The quality of the video won't be better, but the bitrate that YouTube uses for 2160p (4K) videos is higher than that of 1080p and certainly 720p, meaning that YouTube's heavy compression won't degrade quality much, allowing for actually good quality comparison videos of different games, versions, etc. which require a lot of detail to spot all the differences sometimes.
This "trick" is what many people are starting to do in other to have 720p or 1080p videos with a better bitrate and quality on YouTube. Unfortunately, the chances of a publisher doing such a thing is almost zero. So we will continue to have many trailers and videos only available on YouTube, which look like shit. If Gamersyde has a trailer, be thankful for it and move on. If not, know that it's the publisher's fault and just deal with it, either watch it on YouTube or don't. There's no need to complain about it here, it's not Gamersyde's fault.
Also, please note that some publishers send Gamersyde videos of certain games, but not of other games. Even though it's the same publisher, they don't all send Gamersyde or even other press sites all the trailers for all the games. It's illogical and stupid as hell, but that's people and that's life, so just deal with it.
If a publisher sends Gamersyde a video or image, they will publish it - as long as it's not offensive. They don't pick and choose what to post, they post everything they receive. If it's not here, the publisher didn't send it to them and you need to go to YouTube or somewhere else.
Lastly, people forget quite easily how much work others do for them when they aren't the ones doing it. Look at how many original videos and images of games they make, content that they captured it themselves. Be appreciative of all the effort, hard work and sacrifices they make in order to bring us as much high quality content as they can. They absolutely deserve your respect and appreciation.
Is the stuttering from WRC 6 gone?
And, one more question, what's with that extremely raised suspension, like in the beginning of the Portugal video?
No idea about the suspensions though. :/
No idea about the suspensions though. :/
Were they running a very powerful PC or was it somewhat reasonable? Or they didn't say?
