PS3

It's now the turn of LittleBigPlanet's totally cool trailer, filled with never seen before gameplay clips. Graphically, it looks as good as ever.

You know what's funny? If this game were on 360, no one would care about it. I still don't think anyone actually does. I get that "we still need a great game... let's hope and pray this one is it" syndrome the Sony camp were having all year leading up for Lair and Lesbian Sword. All I'm saying is, history tends to repeat itself. And just like those games, I have utterly no clue why people are so called "hyped" for this game. I don't buy it for a second. Like I said, if it were a 360-exclusive, no one would blink an eye.

you should never have joined

anyway, game looks great, whether people want to believe the hype or not. games gonna rule, and its a shame the 360 doesnt have games like this. instead of action game after action game. can always rely on sony for some variety in their games.

I know.. Its a tiny game that is on par with most xblive arcade games. I mean full price for this? Give me a break. Its like paying $70 for an arcade game.

It looks awesome tough. But i figure itll get old really quick once you have made your makeshift cars and stuff. In the end its just another 2d physics painter, google for "Phun" and you'll get a free one for the pc, exact same functionality and "gameplay".
Again, fullprice for this? And advertising it as the next big PS3 game, is just a bit pathetic :)

Call me a fanboy, i dont care. Im just stating my opinion, you'r the fanboy if you cant take some honest valid critique..

Lol. You won't get one from him. Anyway, cannot wait for this game. Playing N+ has shown me how addictive these kinds of party games can be.

An argument can be made out of your previous comment aswell.

For Example: There are many action after action titles on the ps3. There is variety of 360 games, VP, Banjo3, PGR3, Lost Cities, and many more.

I still think this type of game lacks depth/replayability, but it's still refreshing to see

Meh, that wasn't the case for the 360 on its first year. It's just starting to pick up on JRPGs too.

It looks interesting, but I honestly don't see it being all that fun. Sure, it's original, but as others have said, there doesn't seem to be much substance to it. You make something, mess around with it.. and then? I'm far more interested in Spore, which is allowing players to be very imaginative and creative with the ability to easily sculpt and use your own creatures, buildings and vehicles, but then there's actually some gameplay there as well.

I think LBP would have been better suited to an Arcade/PSN game

You do the same thing with pre-made levels as you do the ones you create, doesn't really matter

Also people need to stop saying the word fanboys. Fucking annoying

It IS a PSN game.
I was under the impression it was being released as a full priced game, and would only use the PSN to distrubite the user made content and what naught? If I'm wrong then I certainly apologise, but if that's the case, that's the first I've heard of it, and would certainly change my perspective on it.

It has nothing to do with "being a fanboy" and having pre-made levels doesn't really change anything. My point was that there doesn't seem to be much actual gameplay. If it is being released as a cheap PSN game then sure, I'll buy it right away and probably have a lot of fun messing around with it. But it still seems to me as something that will get old pretty quickly and then not be used much, if ever again. I certainly wouldn't pay for it as a full priced game.

It reminds me a lot of Nintendogs, something I thought was really very original and innovative and could last you for years, but then after just a few days you're left thinking "okay.. now what?"

he has a point and i came across the same issue with it and mentioned it to friends... its a cool game graphics wise and the concept is cool of designing and running through your levels.. but theirs no real "goal" to the game is what he means

i have to agree on the terms of the it'll get old fast... when i saw it it reminds me of a PS3 game grapihics... with the WII gameplay... the depressing part is if its true wii gameplay normally gets boring after a week

yes im a 360 fan, but i have a ps3 and will definitly be getting this .. but dont start cussing people about the game as that is a definite flaw, they really havent shown that levels have a ... point... they're basically jsut sandboxes to jump around in, so far atleast they havent said anything beyond that.
