Microsoft has dropped the trailer of the Horde Command Pack that is available to download now. Also, on November 24, Gears of War 3 players will be able to download the free DLC Booster Pack that contains 5 maps: Bullet Marsh and Clocktower (from the first Gears of War) plus Azura, Rustlung and Blood Drive.

Holy.Fucking.Shit. Today Epic has add ''Alpha'' playlist which is classic -

Team Size: 4
Gametypes: Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, Execution
Loadout: Lancer/Gnasher
Weapon Pick-ups: Default with the some custom swaps. See below.
Weapon Respawn: Set to “After Pick-up” with quicker respawn times.

We wanted to see how Gears of War 3 would play out if some of the starting weapons were placed on the maps as pick-ups. I’ll lay it all out for you guys so you can set these swaps up and play Private matches with the Alpha settings if you so desire.
• Gorgon -> Hammerburst
• Boltok -> Retro Lancer
• Scorcher -> Sawed-Off

Are you kidding me?
Why did I buy the horde command pack yesterday? Clearly, I've bought it because of Azura, Rustlung and Blooddrive (couldn't care less about some MP and wepaon skins) and now they're giving it away for free?!
Amazing, for the guys that didn't buy DLC yesterday or the season pass but for the majority of gears3 players I think it'S a bummer

They should have released the Horde Pack for free (because it's already on disc) instead of making this booster pack.
As mentioned in the post before, good for all guys who knew about the booster pack and didn't buy horde command

So, will this entire pack be free? Or just maps for standard horde/vs play? I'm super confused. What about all the new Horde Stuff, and characters? Considering it's all on disc, it seems even more stupid if their already giving most of it away free anyway...

it's not stupid... hell aren't you getting it for free? its a bit disloyal and taking advantage of not knowing the contents of the season pass, for those who already bought it. Hell, i'm still clinging to the idea Epic will give me(season pass'ers) some treat down the line.
