Tommorrow morning at 5:01 CET exactly, you will discover our gameplay videos of the final version of Gears of War: Judgment, but until then, we can propose a gameplay video of the multiplayer demo of the game which will be made available on March 19 for every Xbox Live gold member. In OverRun, two teams of 5 people fight with the inclusion of classes for the first time ever in the series. Also nice is the possibility to play any of the Locusts you usually only find in single player. If, like us, you managed to try the demo in advance, feel free to share your feelings about the game in the comments. By the way, you don't need to mention how poor our skills are in this video, we know.

they introduced shortcuts wich is nice, i hope that i can have more fun now.
It feels like Gears of War kinda died with the key persons who left Epic after Gears 3. :(
But it wouldn't surprise me if players and reviewers around the globe didn't notice this at all, because that's what people usually do - doesn't pay attention...

The story arc had potential but the sequels were mishandled and badly written. It was a case of too many bad cooks in the kitchen. It was soaked in cliched high five moments and characters as flat as my HD screen. The cookie cutter scenarios and corridor shooting also lacked imagination and finesse.
The competitive multiplayer had its moments but the lack of gameplay consistency was ultimately its biggest downfall. The co-op modes were great though and I hope that's what it's best remembered for. Instead of this weak recycled crap that is Judgment i'll be pre-ordering the survival edition of The Last of Us.
This will no doubt reduce in price fairly quickly and I'll certainly be getting it when it does
just cause they have muscles doesnt make them douches lol Gears 2 and 3 had scenes that were more dramatic then any other game i have ever played. actually made me feel something which not many games do that to me (Spec Ops the line was good at that too)
Gears 3 : DOMMMMMMMMM!
So dramatic...i really feel for these characters...

also the way they were done (especially the maria scene) was quality.
but you are a PS fanboy so i dont expect you to have even played the games. even if you did it was probably just so you could say you played em lol

My favourite bit was when they introduced that spiritual character tai for the sole purpose of trying (and failing) to strike an emotional chord when he blows his own face off with a shotgun. They're some of the most ham fisted, poorly executed, unfitting attempts at drama i've seen in games. Gears would be better without them, then at least they could stop pretending to be more then what they are...dudebro shooters.
you havent even played Gears 3
you havent even played Gears 3
cause i checked your gamertag and you hadnt
I agree. The storytelling was fucking atrocious. But I think it could have been fixed with a more subtle approach. As subtle as Gears can be. It could have stayed over the top ridiculous and have an emotional core as well. Funny enough the character I cared most about, despite being the most ridiculous, was Cole. But seeing how they butchered Dom and handled whats-his-face (Tai?) that might have been an accident after all.
