After releasing a first collection composed of the two God of War games that came out on PS2, Sony decided to give the two PSP exclusives a second youth with the God of War Origins Collection. Here are two homemade videos showing different extracts from both titles. The collection should be released on September 13 in North America and September 14 in Europe.
I must say I was not convinced that making HD remakes of PS games was the best idea ever. That's precisely why I was pleasantly surprised when I started to play. Indeed, the two titles still look rather good on a high definition TV. Sure, Chains of Olympus may be a bit lacking in terms of polygons, but Ghost of Sparta is easily on par with the PS2 games. Don't expect to see HD textures though, as these are actually HD transfers of the portable titles in 1080p and 60 fps. For the fans of the franchise who have not had a chance to play them yet, it is probably a nice deal, provided you don't mind the "best of God of War" impression they leave, as they indeed bring nothing particularly new to the series, except new trophies maybe.

Just my take on GoW from what I seen and experienced.
If God of War 4 is really coming, they should not make Kratos playable anymore and they shouldnt give us the same weapons Kratos had, its just a stale approach at this point IMO.
Hmmm, choices. There is a lot out this year tho so dunno if i'd have time. Ico collection is my main priority at any rate.
Either way, having in mind I already purchased them for the PSP and love them the way they are, these "remasters" don't appeal to me at all.
This is really short version of first 2 games:
