Godfall in one of the few new IPs that accompanied the launch of the PS5, though it was also released on PC. The reception has been mixed, not to say disappointing. The game looks great, gameplay is solid and combat feels very satisfying but it gets very redundant as it lacks variety and its level design is rather poor. Here is a first HDR video to show you how it looks.

This time, however, both consoles have excellent backwards compatibility and have thousands upon thousands of games to play on the new consoles. Also, Godfall is $70 on PS5. That's the same price as 2 ansolutely amazing Spider-Man games.
There's also the PS Collection for PS+ subscribers. Other infinitely better and cheaper games like Hades, as well as many other games people have missed out on last gen. I really hope no one here buys this game at full price, if one really intends on buying it at all.
In spite of all of Gearbox's financial success, outside of Borderlands and Brothers in Arms, I can't remember any of their other games being good. I'm sure they have a one team of talented developers, but they're most likely tied to the Borderlands franchise. Almost all of their other games were from mediocre to terrible.
