Nice to see them put some effort to the PC-version that was first not meant to be. :)

Is the blur meant to represent their disdain towards the PC audience? Not showing them anything?

Why must Ubisoft put their anti-PC propaganda even in their screenshots?!

:P

I really hate motion blur in games tbh, it ruins it because it makes it feel like you're viewing everything through a camera even more, kills the belief that I'm actually playing the character. I know it IS a camera and I know their is numerous technical reasons to the blur as well as a stylised use of it, but I still really dislike it. Hope Ubi don't botch this up though.

It's not a real camera. That distinction is more semantics than anything. Depth of field and motion blur are two things I turn off in most games that let me, because they're almost always horribly implemented.

at the end of the month im getting my self build which meets all the requirements for the Recommended Configuration, ill be getting an AMD Bulldozer 4170 cpu with an ATI 6870 GPU and 8GB kingston hyper x DDR3 1600 memory running on windows 7 pro, all for just a little bit over £400, not bad when you think about it as the next gen consoles will be at least £300 when they come out in 2013 (might come out in 2013 except for the wii u which is supposed to be out before xmass 2012).

... I can agree if you mean over bearing of screen based motion blur... but wave a hand in front of your face. Surprise, it blurs with motion. Object based motion blur is perfectly realistic.

I love motion blur, but not in a exagerated way. Enough to see the game, but also enough to notice the motion blur. Many games can pull it off nicely.
The only motion blur I hate is when it looks disorted, kind of like a screentearing. Unreal Engine has it and Lost Planet 2.
