UBISOFT® ANNOUNCES SEASON PASS AND
POST-LAUNCH FREE PVP UPDATE FOR
TOM CLANCY’S GHOST RECON® WILDLANDS

SAN FRANCISCO — March 2, 2017 — Today, Ubisoft announced the post launch plan for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, including a post-launch free PvP update and a season pass containing two major expansions, faction-themed equipment, an exclusive vehicle, permanent and single-use XP boosters and more.

Season pass holders will be able to extend their Ghost Recon experience with two major expansions and one special mission that call on players to take on enemies that only experienced Ghosts are able to handle. Each equipment pack unlocks outfits and weapons that are inspired by the rebellion and the Unidad, and even lets players grab an outfit that mimics the style of a Santa Blanca cartel member. Extra perks give players a head start on the enemy by adding a permanent XP boost as well as a single-use short XP booster. The Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Season Pass for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC includes:

• One week early access to two major expansions:
o Narco Road: Players will infiltrate a gang of smugglers and take part in crazy races and challenges to earn their infamous leader's trust and destroy them from the inside. Gamers will be able to meet new bosses and travel the wildlands in new vehicles.
o Fallen Ghosts: During an evacuation mission, the Ghosts’ chopper is shot down and the squad will need to adapt as they’re tracked down by an elite group of ruthless mercenaries. Players will fight a new powerful enemy, learn new skills and unlock weapons to complete their mission.
• The Unidad Conspiracy missions: Players will work to break down and destabilize the alliance between Santa Blanca and Unidad in the Media Luna province.
• The Peruvian Connection pack: Players will be able to play through the Peruvian Connection mission as well as receive seven gear patches
• Faction themed equipment packs
o Rebellion Ghost Pack: Players can don an outfit inspired by the brave Katari 26 rebels. They will also unlock a unique AK-47 equipped with a bigger magazine and customized with unique engraving work.
o Unidad Ghost Pack: Players dominate enemies with an Unidad outfit so they can attack Unidad camps dressed just like one of them. They will also unlock a unique Unidad LMG weapon, customized with the colors of Unidad, and equipped with a red dot scope and a larger magazine.
o Santa Blanca Ghost Pack: With a Santa Blanca-inspired outfit, players can mimic their style without joining their ranks. This pack also unlocks the Santa Blanca golden M1911, customized with engravings and the mark of the cartel, for players to unleash chaos on the cartel.
• Exclusive vehicle: Bolivian Minibus
• Digital content
o Permanent +5% XP booster for the player
o Single-use short XP booster: +50% XP for the player and +25% XP for other players in the session, expires two hours from time of use.

Ubisoft also announced that PvP will be included in a free update for all Ghost Recon Wildlands owners post-launch, offering tactical class-based 4v4 team combat that will put players’ skills to the test. More information about PvP will be available at a later date.

Players can optimize their gameplay strategy by using the Ghost Recon HQ, the game’s official Companion App that can be downloaded for free on iOS and Android tablets and phones. The Companion App serves as a second-screen experience both in solo and co-op – by synchronizing it with their game, the TacMap will be seamlessly broadcast through the app. The Companion App’s Guerilla mode puts players in place to help the Rebellion and unlock Resources that they can then use in the main game to advance their progression. Fans can also access detailed information about the characters they will meet in Wildlands.

Set in the largest action-adventure open world ever created by Ubisoft, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands takes place in a fictional Bolivia a few years from now. Players are tasked with eliminating the Santa Blanca drug cartel by any means necessary. The massive and responsive open world encourages a variety of playstyles, allowing players the freedom to choose how they execute any and all missions. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be available on March 7 for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and PC.

How come they didn't mention countless patches that they will have released in the first month alone?

Did they change anything about driving or this is a joke? Racing with those awful driving mechanics and gameplay, it's much more worse than The Crew!!

Maybe because the game runs perfectly fine even in Beta. And my comp is not rally high-end.

Same to You. I know about 6-7 people with different configs and they all had no issues. I really didn´t dig into it, since it´s ok on our end, but did You had some trouble with it? No fight...just asking.

4v4 PvP, Racing and Monster Trucks and people still try and claim this is a proper Ghost Recon :(

The 21 regions/21 maps in this game would of made for some great 16v16 or 32v32 PvP but no Ubi want to do 4v fucking 4. Ubi are so out of touch with what their fanbase want.

You bet I did. So did a fucktonne of people. Read some forums and be surprised.

There's this fellow on YouTube called Mack (WorthABuy channel) and he calls people like you "asshole brigade" and I agree. Someone mentions bugs and bad optimization and the brigade charges in saying it runs just fine no problem and everyone else is lying. I've no idea what motivates people like you.

Funnily enough, that's what a lot of people here think of you and your retrograde ideas about women and minorities. So basically, could you please stop attacking and offending people on Gamersyde so the threads can be more peaceful. How come you always seem to cause trouble? How come you're always so damn aggressive with everyone?

You're free to think whatever you want, not to express such opinions here, because we simply don't want to see such things on a gaming website. You've had it coming for a while, so this will be the only warning you'll get. If you have a little respect for what we're trying to do here, you'll do your best to behave like any 21st century personne should today.

Thanks in advance.

I have great respect for your dedication and your work. I really enjoy your content. I can also understand your desire to keep this place chill and I do agree that I might be somewhat rude and straightforward in my opinions.

But I won't fall in line, just because some people can't handle the criticism or another opinion and start calling me names. If you want this website to become another Neogaf, it's your choice. Just remember, if you go down that lane, there will be a day when you'll realise how horrifying the echo chambers can get.

Ban me all you want. Hivemind must be protected. I understand.

Wow...it looks like You will need some medical attention. Take it easy. Do You know why PEOPLE LIKE ME say this stuff? Because the game runs just fine for us. That´s the only reason. Why would we lie about it? You are just very funny little guy. Maybe...just maybe if You would uninstall the shitloads of nonsense from Your systems, the game would run for PEOPLE LIKE YOU ok as well. Cheers. BTW...people calling You names? You serious? You are the aggressor here, buddy.

Ah.. the last bastion of any "logical" argument is to lump everyone who disagrees you together into some kind of thoughtless mass. You're just so pathetic. And so fragile. Respect is a two way street, snowflake. There's no need to pretend that all opinions are equal. I hope diversity in games continues to trigger your ironic quest for social justice. You weren't banned because you hold an alternative opinion. You were banned because, as you said yourself, you're fucking rude.

GR Wildlands does run more poorly than I had hoped... but I didn't think the game was good either :/

Sorry to hear that. What I wanted to talk about with ManCrush is, how is that possible, or why is it so broken for some players and for some it isn´t. When the Division was released, I was also worried about the performance of my comp, but it also ran nice and could be played without a problem. I think we can agree Division looks fantastic, so since this game, I started to believe more in Ubisoft again. For me it works, but it sucks, there so many problems with this. I hope the game will run the same as the Beta.

The open beta was stable and ran better than the previous beta, but sub-60 FPS without very aggressive settings at 1440p. Compared to their other recent games it runs pretty poorly. Granted, those other games aren't massive open worlds with ridiculous draw distances. It was actually pretty okay because of g-sync, but w/o it I would consider that borderline unplayable.

But the game didn't grab me. I'm not anti-Ubi or anything. I'm content playing For Honor and Siege :P

I understand. I still wait to try For Honor out. Looks great. Maybe I´m not that demanding on FPS and ultra settings in games. It still looks great. I´m not playing it on ULTRA and resolution is 1920x1080. Details are like Very High/High and it runs nicely. I didn´t measure the exact FPS, I just need the game to run smoothly enough to be pleasure to play. Anyway...enjoy Your Siege and For Honor.
