Sony releases five new images of Gran Turismo PSP. It's hard to believe that they're from the portable episode as it looks like PS2's work. In truth, they are official bullshots, ie, images captured in high-resolution by the photo-mode of the game. For good measure, we attached in addition some pictures this time captured during a real game.

Game in real resolution looks kinda crappy, because of that. Probably plays and looks better in motion.
... who am I kidding, GT playing better, yhea.

Commented on 2009-06-25 17:42:31 In reply to nagylebowskithey do show some good detail polywise in both environments and the cars and they seemed to have nailed the lighting/reflection effects on the cars. in motion theres a noticeable difference between 333mhz and 222mhz racers and this is a good example.

Commented on 2009-06-25 21:46:40 In reply to myke6699That said, I do believe the truth is in the middle...as framegrabs also look considerably worse than actual gameplay footage. So I'd say it looks considerably better than the screenshots, but also considerably worse than the photomode shots...
