Wonderful images... I'm quite interested in this one! (I do hope though that they have tire trails in the final version ;)

One question: is there any more information available for this game? I see on the overview page that it is scheduled for 2006 (sub-question: for which region is that line, Europe?), and that it is playable over Live. Have new things arisen that show a more determined launch date, as well as how the Live part will be like? Thanks for any answers. :)

I dont know, some of those pics look prerendered. DID they say which version are these pics from? IF they are from the ps3 then damn, cause lately im not impressed with the 360's graphics. If that's what it looks like on the ps3 then the 360 could be dead. I hope thats not the case, but that cell processor can really inhance the graphics of games or could this be one of the games that is actually using all three cores or threads on the 360 which ever one it is? I heard that all the launch titles didnt use all three core or threads.

Maybe it's just all of the lauch title did'nt have suffice time to develope the games, they had only about 2-3 months with final hardware, i believe.

I think Eddy must have missed the Sony comments that they still don't have the Nvidia GPU out to devs. It was expected in November, we are now going into January. Looks like Sony is giving devs the same 2-3 months with final hardware...

The games looks cool specially the backgrounds, it makes me wounder how the halo 3 backgrounds will be, Halo is known for their massive background in the single player.

Excellent!

Looking forward to this game!

Wonder if they have a sand physics engine.....can you leave ruts in the sand? Like a skier in snow?

Those screens look very nice and such a big improvement compared to the older ones. I hope they can fix the grass and as the above poster said have sand physics. The lighting looks awesome!

Looks fantastic, hope it plays as good as it looks. And yeah, they need tire imprints in the sand and dirt, would really make it more realistic looking. Great ambiance with the lighting too.

The best this has to offer in graphics is the lighting and the draw distance, very nice. Other than that, it's not that impressive IMO.

Ok 2 questions:

1. Is this game going to be like a simulator where you have to cross the dessert in your car?

2. WTF is "Boulet Time" and why does I keep seeing it in almost every comment thingy?

this looks like some slick lighting/shading over mediocre graphics...the cars look like NFS or ridge racer qualtiy imo...still cud be a good game tho...

call of duty 2 actually uses all three threads one for physics(even though there very little in the game) 1 for A.I and the other for everything else

full auto is using all three as well, and just because they are using all 3 does not mean that it is using its full potential it just mean there learning how it works
