Rockstar has just updated the official website for Grand Theft Auto IV. No less than 19 screenshots are thus offered, all packed into an awesome gallery after the jump. Oh, and there are two videos too if that counts.
Haters can say whatever they want, but GTAIV looks GOOOOOD. Perhaps not in the same league as the other graphical masterpieces like COD4, Uncharted etc but still very next-gen to me. Lets hope the gameplay hasn't been left behind.
Seriously I'm loving the vids for sure, can't get enough of GTA IV. But the lack of actual gameplay videos is really starting to get annoying and somewhat concerning.
The framerate in all the videos, and these are mearly 'cutscenes', is absolutely horrible. Better not fuck this one up Rockstar!
i think in motion this game is going to look beyond awesome. that crazy euphoria engine alone is gonna make this game looks great in motion. the idea of running a guy over in a car only for him to grab onto the roof, holding on for dear life just seems awesome to me.
Man this lk looks really good eh, a sure buy 4 me, but not per se on launch, I kinda wanna start and finnish Lost Odyssey before i get GTA4 hooked
What surprises me often is that people dont like the GTA graphics, I really think they are nice, just wow compared to previous GTA tittles.
and on par with what other devs are doing, and dont forget this game is huge!
With all the Hype this tittle is catshing can it live up to our expectations, I dont know, maybe we should just expect GTA, I cant really think about ever having a bad GTA so, My guess is this game will be great!
i hope we can customise the look of the character, like create our own character like saint's row or mass effect, cause the lead guy so far, is one ugly mother f****!

No customisation. Costumes work the same way they did in Vice City.

no they dont. vice city had basic full costumes, this game doesnt. this game is a more limited version of what was in san andreas, you can pick trousers, tops, etc individually so the customisations is far better then that of vice city, but not as good as san andreas. and no where near as good as saints row, but then i didnt change my clothes in saints row much anyway.
are there ANY gameplay shots ANYWHERE? or videos even?
i mean, ok i`ts all "IN GAME", but i have yet to see ANY actual "playing" material.
like, what`s the perspective and such... sure, the in-game / in-engine cutscenes are nice, but these aren`t the stuff we will see 90% of the time actually PLAYING the game. or so i hope anyway... it still is interactive, is it not? ;)

Did you ever think that maybe some parts of the video were in slow motion??? Jeez. I honestly don't understand how people can judge from LQ videos, when they haven't even played the actual game.
