Rocksmith 2014 was released a little while ago and we were sent our own copy of the game to make a few videos and say what we think about it. I am no prodigy but I did my best, so hopefully, you'll enjoy watching.
Verdict
The developers at Red Strom have managed to confirm that their game is indeed a nice way to practice guitar and have fun. This 2014 edition proposes a smoother experience with a varied play list that should please beginners and skilled players alike but it still requires the proper equipment to play it correctly. Indeed, you must avoid connecting the console's audio on your TV set via HDMI and it is strongly advised to use an amplifier with RCA or YUV cables instead. There is still a bit of latency even when everything has been done perfectly, but it's minor enough so it won't prevent you from improving and enjoying the game. Bass guitar players can also practice in Rocksmith 2014 as lessons and songs are adapted to their instrument as well. If you want to learn guitar, then don't listen to Phoebe and touch one when playing Rocksmith 2014.
