And by glad I mean we'll go burn down Rockstar offices now.
Brb.
The 360 version of the game is the best version anyways.
I love the way masteratt jumps on Rockstar for this being Xbox exclusive. If you were offered 50Million to make an exclusive game I doubt you'd turn it down to keep some fans happy.
But yea, I will defiantly will be getting this.
Microsoft announced this content was coming out ages ago . . . before the PS3 even launched.
Knowing that info years in advance, if you were a GTA fan, you should have bought a 360; period. It's not like you were not told three years this content was coming exclusively to the Xbox 360.
On the other hand, if you are a fanboy claiming to be a GTA fan, claiming to feel upset because this content is Xbox exclusive, then in the immortal words of William Shatner, "Get a life!"
PS3 fans have had three years to make up their minds - either you are a fan of the games, or you are a fan of the hardware. And PC fans, I bet most of you do not have a PC even capable of even running GTA IV on PC, the system requirements to run the game smoothly, are through the roof. You'd literally be saving money just buying a 360 for the game, than upgrading most PCs just to play it.
This content is exclusive. It's been highly publicized for three years that it would be exclusive. So anyone who says that it is unfair they cannot get it (as well as get the next chapter) on their game platform of choice, well you did not want it in the first place; as supporting your hardware of choice, was obviously far more important than actually playing games.
As for the trailer above . . . it's alright. Nothing earth shattering, but alright just the same. I figure R* is going to release a proper story trailer in the next couple weeks in the build up to the game's release on the 17th. So these mini-trailers (teasers) are okay for what they are.
As for the game itself, well that is so purchased. The Lost and Damned is easily the one of the biggest no-brainer purchases since the Orange Box. About 20 hours of new game play, for $20 . . . plus new side missions . . . new online modes . . . new Achievements . . . new weapons . . . new vehicles . . . new music tracks . . . and a new protagonist . . . not bad for $20.
I can't wait. February is turning into one helluva month. FEAR 2: Project Origin, Street Fighter 4, Killzone 2, Shellshock 2: Blood Trails, Stoked and GTA IV: The Lost and Damned. I'm going to be busy all month long. This is the way every year should kick off.
powder grow up! its people like you why i hate xbox live. i just wonder what all these people who are saying its going to be 20 hours will do if it turns out to be a fraction of that?
me i think it might be around 8-10 hours at most- but that still a lot longer than most full price games. anybody any iodea when the next dlc pack will be out and freeswag i do have a pc that can run gta 4, mind if lost and the damned turns out to be good i will still be getting for my 360.
THIS is exactly how all DLC should be done, not just random bits and pieces removed from the game, but a full on expansion.
This is a serious question BTW, not trying to piss on the flames or anything!
:o)
