PS3

Namco-Bandai and Koei released this long video of Gundam Musou, and I don't think anyone can say this game is technically impressive. The space sequences are also quite "interesting".

Oh dear, and what the hell is with the small video's .. geezzzus Japan get some decent capture hardware.

at that resolution it looks more like a PSP game than a PS3 one.

I think this will actually sell really well in japan like over 600k.

I know it doesn't look that technically impressive, but it seems like something japan would eat up. There are some rather nice special effects here and there.

After watching the trailer, the game looks very fun. My only complaint with Koei and these kinds of games is how "brain dead" the AI is. Whenever the decide to fix that, that'll be a step in the right direction.

Actually, play one and imagine the AI being better. I swear you'd want to cut your face off within 10 minutes.

The reason the games are fun is because you're facing literally thousands of enemies that work as a "force" rather than individuals, meaning that they'll take you down by numbers and you'll take them out by numbers aswell.

If each one put up a greater fight it'd be the most frustrating series of games on earth.

Looks more fun than most Gundam games that come out, although that's not saying much.

Well, if they were aiming for something like the series it's based on, I'd at least like to see ally and enemy units actually battling it out instead of just standing around waiting for me to do something most of the time.

Hmm?

Allied troops (with respective generals) do tons of work in DW and SW. Especially the later Empires editions. You can order your generals around a bit aswell, and using them all to push forward at the right moment is key to victory.
