Half-Life 2, one of the last biggest Xbox games to come-out, showcases with these 9 screenshots. Nothing compares with the PC version of course, but the game doesn't look that bad... Well, actually it does look bad, but I'm sure it could have been worst. And, more than the graphics, the real pain in the ass is definitively the lack of any Xbox-Live option, even a simple deathmatch mode. A shame for sure, and not exactly the type of defect you'd expect from such a blockbuster. Valve is Valve...
[NB]: Just in case, it seems that most of these images are from May. So perhaps there is still hope for the graphics...

Xbox(64mb ram and a 733mhz cpu) compared to a MAX Requirements of HL2 (3.2ghz cpu radeon 9800 xt), compared with those specs it's pretty good that it's running on the Xbox.
At least the kept what's important for the game, namely stuff like: physics, lighting shadowing..
But comparing this game with FarCry, which on the PC had some serious system requirements, and FarCry: Instincts which is basically FarCry on the PC but masively revised, IMO FarCry looks damn good on the Xbox and looks almost as good and sometimes better than the PC version of the game.
IMO Valve should've put this game out on Xbox 360 with Multiplayer included.
Absolutely. I mean, if you stand like 1 meter away from the wall, it looks terrible. The city is very very cool, and there is alot of detail on the houses with many objects, but in close, it looks like crap. And I mean, a Geforce 3 can handle the game with OK options.
But yeah, there are some cool shaders (are they called that?), some cool mapping and stuff. Very impressive, and they really built the graphics really smart.
Great,
Can't keep everyone happy.
No Multiplayer?
No Mods?
No thanks...... I'll stick with HL2 on my PC
Doom 3 is so amazing. Only Conker, SC CT, and WMXXI look bette rimo
About graphics........ hope is our only chance
