Halo 3: Custom mode images

It looks like some very determined or lucky people managed to unlock the Custom game mode in the beta of Halo 3, allowing the players to use the Pistol and the Plasma Sword, and also a way to change the gravity. The movie system doesn't work well with these games though, so you'll have to survive with these fews images.
Update: Lovas sent me a video that works long enough to see the Wraith tank in action, bugs included :)

how do you unlock custom games?

I thought you couldn't alter the options when you (byaccidentally) access CGs...

ok i will explain how its happened for me, you need at least 6 people in a matchmaking party then you have one make their own game. the original party leader brings his party into the party the other guy made and one of the people in your party may be booted into a custom game room of their room

on the H3 beta forums it looks like you just join someones custom game party, then back out and you can set up your own... seems intentionally easy to me.

Ive heard that you shall create a party with one other player, In the mean time you let 6 other people create a party together and when they are waiting in the lobby, you send the party leader (the lobby with 2 sends an invite to the lobby with 6 people) and while they are joining, someone will be kicked out!

This guy will go into an own party and this is the custom game party, so he can therefore send the others an invite and then be able to play Custom games...

Correct me if im wrong..

Wow, I didn't think you were going to use the video since we were just messing around, not really playing seriously. Still I'm glad to help.

The Wraith seats two people, one to drive and fire the big gun and the other to shoot a little turret in the front. You can jack the front or the back, using either melee attacks or via grenades. I actually was too busy punching the guy to realize after he was dead that the tank was dead and I needed to jump off, it was no bug.

And as said above the pistol takes 5 headshots to kill, yes. Its really slow now too...

I think the MC in the last pic is actually one the next generation of spartans
(their overall abilites have been tuned down for better production rate).
The latest Halo novel has them in the story.

I am not sure about the rest though;)

Yeah, that totally looks like the new "Spartans" (the Spartan II Program IIRC?)... they're el cheapo mass production vs ultimate but expensive. they are nowhere near as effective as the original Spartans but they are cheaper enough to be sent on suicide missions on a regular basis.

Read the books, they're suprisingly good sci-fi.
