At first I thought it was going in the music route of Ghost In the Shell at the beginning. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0z08OpmEPc)
Then I realized you wouldn't have linked a music-less youtube version if it weren't continuing the "dubstep" train wreck.

It's cool though right? Kids are listening to this nowadays right?

Once again I had to turn the video off because of that absolutely wretched excuse of a sound that they call dubstep. Just bloody awful.

Old fogy? I used quotations because there's a lot of people questioning what it exactly is

Dubstep has certainly overstayed its welcome IMO. Thank you for straight sound effects link. Gonna be a fun game.

Hahaha, dubstep is made for trailers as far as I'm concerned. I think it can sound quite awesome and badass, but only in small amounts. I'm certainly not offended by it in any way, and it's a welcome change from constant orchestral stuff.

Cry babies quit fucking crying about the music. It's a VIDEO that has been EDITED. I don't like it much either but it doesn't matter because that's not what I'm going to be hearing when I play the game.

They could've been a lot more creative with the weapons. Once again it's just the alien versions of the pisol, assault rifle, sniper rifle, shotgun etc.

how so? the fact that you can headshot all human enemies like sitting ducks makes the gameplay really boring.

Maybe I should call it shooting? is there other "gameplay" in a fps shooter?

Game play? Halo's MP takes a big shit on Crysis's game play
Also the Crysis story is trite and lame

The fact the gameplay design of how you want to approach a situation in Crysis outbeats Halo IMO easily. Customizing every weapon on the fly to fit your playstyle, go stealthy, go action packed or mix of both or just dont be detected at all. There is a sense of freedom in options of how you want to play like in Crysis.

Only thing that makes like Halo is the universe and its a space sci fi since I really hate futuristic stuff on earth. Its manageable at best for me.
But gameplay...its ok.

I sometimes worry this game may have too many weapons, as I am personally a fan of the Halo 2 MP simplicity. That said, this does look awesome.

As for the music, why they went for that choice I have no idea. Even at most Halo only ever went as far as Breaking Benjamin, but never as far as sodding Pendulum or the like.

No, he's not. I found Crysis 1/2 eventually became a chore to finish and never gave them a replay. The opposite couldn't be further from the truth for Halo for me.

look, i really apreciate how crysis (2) creates this plateau of points of entry with hidden points and high/low levels. when that can be exploit game is pretty fun. but "enemys" and shooting brings it all down. thats where halo goes beyond it... it has a "typical" level if you wanna play CODified, but the weapons, terrain/fly vehicles, and the big levels all give it good options to play, not based on your overpowered caracther. In that way I think halo sandbox is way more fun because it doesn't deviate too much from a normal FPF. Crysis is a GOD Mode game, where the enemies are dumb bots to begin with.

but I really hope Crysis 3 implements new enemies, its what the series really needs.

Im not saying Halo is bad, I find it fun. but IMO I like Crysis gameplay more because you got the nanosuit and you are be Rambo or Snake or both in any given situation.
Btw, Crysis>>>>Crysis 2, since 1 had sandbox and was a better game overal.

But ah well, its all good :)

Old foggy? It's called being able to distinguish what is shit and what is good. Dubstep = shit. Is it even music? It's just a mash up of farting sounds and god knows what else.
