It's so strange to me how Microsoft's flagship title has some of the least impressive--by comparison--graphics in next gen gaming. Halo: CE was way ahead of its time in the visual department when it was first released. You'd think being one of the biggest franchises in the last 2 decades would at least outshine a game like, say, Ratchet and Clank. It doesn't look bad, but I do miss the days when Bungie was handling the franchise.

It did? I must have missed that https://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-3/kill...

People always like the pretend that Guerilla had so much to prove with Horizon Zero Dawn............ they didn't lol.
Now 343i on the other hand, have yet to make a competently great/even decent single player and multiplayer game since taking over Halo a decade ago.

hell is this diabetus? Guerrila had to prove they coud do a decent game (alas Horizon) after the utterly mediocre piece of shit that was Shadow Fail.

Moving on,

Now Bungie for any bungle fanatics, never once did a visually stunning game after CE, just engines that impressed in one way or another for the scale&physics but with Huge constraints to run on actual console hardware. Always promissing a do-over, and it was 343 who did a massive overhaul to said pipeline, dialing down most of the Bungie vision for the Halo Engine pillars. 343 ence again, goes all the way down to the "not broken, don't fix it", reusing the same stuff.

Oh btw, Halo 5 has the Best competitive arena multiplayer of last gen, what the **** are you smoking? (doesn't excuse'em of the rest)
