This is pumping me up for the release. I like the "hyper lethal" stuff. Perfect way to describe Master Chief and Noble Six. You are forced to wipe out entire armies single handedly by the developers at Bungie when you play as those characters.
I think this campaign is going to be the best one since Combat Evolved. With everything else they keep announcing for Reach I'm finding it really hard to imagine any other shooter coming close to matching Reach's quality and quantity. It really is shaping up to be one of the most amazing packages of this generation.
I think Bungie's swan song is gonna really put some huge smiles on some very faithful faces this september.

Don't know about it being the best shooter EWAR, but it sure looks to kick Halo 2 and 3 straight in the junk, and it's about bloody time this franchise geared up cause it feels like both 2 and 3 were a bit "meh" if you weren't just getting them for the MP. I also like the fact that the squad ahs some personality now, even though it feel rather stock, instead of just Master Chief the invincible and anonymous death-machine and Mr. Black McDrillseargeant.
Does anybody know if we just get to play the master chief clone or do we get to play the different guys of the squad? Or is that stuff reserved for Co-op maybe?

Well of course because Halo 2 + 3 campaigns were down-right embarassingly bad and incoherent, don't get me started on ODST.
This however gives the fan something great at last, why they haven't done this in the past a real noodle scratcher considering the previous budgets.
I replayed entire series recently and 3's campaign was my favorite one. Really fun missions with really fun encounters with some beautiful, colourful levels. The last two missions were bad and the story was embarassing, but overall the best one. I am sort of disappointed that Reach will be darker, but I still expect it to be the best Halo yet. :)

Exactly. The games lacked the "epic" oomph that Halo 1 had. Not to mention the fact that I winced at some of the Halo 3 and ODST dialogue (just played them both a couple of hours ago).
