Robin is badass in this one, very cool character, and nice to see him get his own story in this DLC.

Played the shit out of this game, but I sold it on a while ago. I would have liked to play as Robin, not enough to rebuy the game and buy the DLC.

Robin imo has the best fighting style in the game. So satisfying to hit thugs with a metal bar.

I still have a ton of stuff to do in B:AC, but i have no desire to return to it. It was just incredibly dissapointing compared to first..., being able to play as nancy boy robin isnt going to change that.

clusterfuck of random cameo villains that served only to make the narrative messy. open world removed the metroidvania approach of the first, and again, made it less focused, fell back on open world staples like random enemy encounters (lame) . traversing the city was tiresome and became a chore to get from point A-B once the novelty wore off. combat and stealth where barely improved upon outside of a few tweaks here and there. story wasnt as good, and the ending was just lame. riddler trophies were more numerous, but more repetative and boring to acomplish. it basically did exactly what i thought it was going to do when i heard about them going open-world. i was hopeing they would somehow retain the feel of the first while having an open world to set the scene, but instead we got a pretty by the numbers open world experience complete with all the things that makes those games a chore. it was still an OK game, but unlike the first, i do regret buying it, wish i'd have rented it instead.

a receipt doesnt take away the dissapointment, you may get your money back, but you'll never get your time back.

If your time is so important, go out and do something with it instead of complaining about video games.

Wasted time is an issue, i enjoy my time discusing games, hence not wasted, hence not an issue, hence a moot point. sinking 20 hours into a game only to feel dissapointed? Pretty big issue.

i wouldnt take my word as gospel. a lot of people prefer AC for its more open, free-form mechanics. i personally found little fun in those elements. but then i'm the sort of person who prefared the old linear PSone spider-man games to the more modern, open-word versions. open world just tends to = repetetition and boredom becasue they try to fill the space with stuff to do but fail in making them varied or interesting.
