Electronic Arts and DICE studio dropped a handful of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 screenshots. Some postcards in the mountain, tanks, helicopters, bazookas, and proof by three that the team has worked hard on their destruction engine since the first game.

It's because of the Beta. Run the GS beta and you'll see the pics loading on the main page.

On the game: Looks good and finally we can completely destroy the buildings!

When I opened up the first screenshot, I initially thought: "This is the worst screen tearing I've ever seen!" Then I realised that the image was purposely split up...

Anyway, I really enjoyed the first game. Destructible buildings is a real selling point for me - blowing stuff up never gets old.

Now buildings can be blown up completely? Sounds like they're just ticking another check-box for improvements on the 1st game.

After Red Faction: Guerilla, this game will have to show more than just destruction, and funny characters to warrant a sequel.

destruction seems way better. but cant say i'm a fan of the setting, hopefully theres more then just snow environments.

hope it's better then the first too, since that was incredibly short and kinda average gameplay wise. felt like a poor mans cod4...even though it did have destruction.

I bought Red Faction, and I think it's a completely different game and far behind on the gameplay department (paper, rock, scissor gameplay). Destructible environment is a huge deal for BF:BC and if it's improved it'll make the sequel even better. In Red Faction this gameplay element serves almost no purpose at all other than being an objective.
