This seems interesting, i love how every enemy seems so big and menacing, along with Senua that is also very big and close to the camera. Maybe she turns around too much with her blows? Takes away some of the power. Also, i hope they don't take all the care for characters and story and then leave just mindless button mashing for combat.

But i'm worried only because this seems very interesting!

I loved every frame of this so far. Freaking awesome! Music is also great and dark........but the guy in the music studio...well, for now, he is the most demonic part of this whole project. :-D

I've loved every Ninja Theory (NT) game since Heavenly Sword and even more so when I compare them to everything else out there. NT games feel so fresh and different because of the emphasis on character and story the same is true here.

I hope there will be a decent amount of combat variety. It looks awesome but it could get very repetitive if they dont mix things up.

Just watched this and wow. I hope the heavy metal stuff isn't overly used because the ethereal acoustic music they use is bone chilling in the greatest way.

I see a few potential issues namely difficulty and the camera. The gameplay looks LIKE Dark Souls but the camera seems like it could get in the way, I think making the parry system a more essential mechanic and increasing the difficulty and or increasing AI damage will solve some of the problems i.e. the stand and wait AI and the combo trapping.

But the feels this game is giving is getting me really excited and whilst it was announced sometime ago I don't feel like I have been waiting forever maybe it's the nature of development or marketing but a game like no man sky no longer excites me when a video is released, this does.

I really liked all the work that Ninja Theory is putting into the combat system and enemies' bodies degradation - which is something I've always wanted more games to do, but the second I saw that Assassin's Creed's or Batman: Arkham's (standard difficulty) AI system of: a) multiple enemies waiting for the player to attack; b) only one enemy attacking while the other enemies are standing by watching; or c) an enemy attacking only if the player is attacking another enemy totally turned me off on the combat system.

In a way, it just made most of that effort and care that Ninja Theory put into the combat system meaningless. I love Assassin's Creed and Batman: Arkham games, but in Assassin's Creed games - with possibly the exception of Unity - and Batman: Arkham games (at the default difficulty setting and at 30fps) the combat system is one of the worst systems in these games.

So I hope Ninja Theory makes some adjustments for enemies' AI behaviour system in higher difficulties to make enemies use more challenging tactics than just artificially increasing the difficulty.

PS. Completely unrelated to Hellblade, just putting this here for those that always saw me defend Batman: Arkham games' combat system and will think of replying to me thinking I did a 180º turn à la Microsoft on it. I haven't, I just don't want to put a "wall of text" here, but if anyone is interested in why I mentioned "at the default difficulty setting and at 30fps" I will explain.

Great visuals and art, music seems to be close to Wardruna (tracks can be heard even in Vikings) from what i heard minus the metal part so i am excited for the OST more than the game itself.

But combat i still dont like it, not my thing i guess.
