GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

The PS4 beta of Hitman started this morning as planned, and we only had a bit of time to capture the first tutorial sequence on the yacht. More videos will come as soon as possible.
Update: 3 videos added. The Final Test level introduces us with the opportunity system we mentioned in the preview.

The worst thing so far is the animation. The walking is good but the interaction with the objects is just as bad as it was last time. But this is just nitpicking, could be a good hitman but after many years it should be normal to surpass hitman 2 but seems it's not possible

I did not expect the game to target 60fps on ps4. But If they dont fix the fps dtrops until lauch i hope they include an option to cap it at 30fps.

Somehow it looks worse than Absolution.

What? In fact Glacier is one of the most advanced game engines available to date. So just no. They do have a budget to work against so just because you're disappointed with the shadow quality doesn't mean the engine is outdated. The scale is a huge step up from Absolution and at the same time they have what? 300-400 fully active AI routines at the same time. Comes at a cost. Calling the shadows rubbish is laughable. High quality all things considered. Bet your ass the PC version of this is going to look even better than Absolution ever did on PC and that game still looks insane.

Shadows must be disabled for some reason...

In the Final Test videos shadows are present and it looks much better.

been playing this over the weekend and it's great. some stutter in the cut-scenes due to loading in the next level in the background and a few bugs here and there (if you take a guard uniform, switch back, and then get the guard uniform again it goes from green to blue) but it looked nice and ran well...it's a serious return to form in regards to gameplay too even in this small scale training level. it's a shame they've opted for episodic.

Why is it a shame? Pay full price now and you get what? At least six huge levels to play with for the time being. Later on when they're done you get all the remaining levels without extra cost. Sure it's nice to have every level at the same time, but this way we get the game earlier with 50% more content on the way and at the same time feedback given for these levels might help improve gameplay mechanics for the remaining levels giving us a better product than they could've delivered if everything was included at the same time.

Its a shame because you get 1 level at release. And a level per month thereafter x6. It's going to take 6 months to play this game fully all while some huge releases are hittingshelves and fighting for screen-time. Its a shame for the same reason a netflix series is better then a television one when it comes to distribution. Or how a full season boxset is better then waiting a week to see the next one. I honestly think this method will put off a lot of people and give squeenix the false impression people don't care about the series anymore...when reality is people just don't want their content to be episodic. But we'll see.
