Next week, Agent 47 will travel to Marrakesh for his mission A Gilded Cage. Get a look at the location with the screenshots inside. Releasing on May 31, the third episode of Hitman will ask you to take out two targets: private investment banker Claus Strandberg and Army General Reza Zaydan.

Something i realised i want to be the norm after playing the elusive target are targets that don't show up in instinct mode...at least not innitially. So you actually have to find them yourself. Then once you do see them, diana will do her usual "this is x, his hands are deep in criminal activity...kill him via any means necessary...blah blah blah" then the target glows red in intinct mode and can be tracked.

It makes no sense that 47 can detect exactly where the target is, through multimple walls, from 3 miles away. It would help give a reason to explore and find interesting means to kill without it feeling contrived. just happening across areas and items while you're looking for your target. Rather than just bee lining straight to them.

There are a lot of things like that that i would change about this game.

If you can't turn off either the target location or even Instinct mode itself, doesn't higher difficulties or the highest one make your Instinct mode not locate the target through walls or disable it completely?

I don't have the game and I'm waiting for the 100% complete game release in December, if I'm not mistaken. Just asked because in most games you either can turn off these things or they are disabled in a higher difficulty setting - Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell games, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc.

What I want is no hand holding "Opportunities". I guess they were afraid the broader audience which is by the way brain dead would miss them all and that's a dollar's work they fail to show.

The games comes out next year on disc, there are no difficulty modes, and while you can turn off instincts mode entirely...that isn't what i want. I just don't want to see a glowing red target 3 miles away the second you start the level. The instinct mode for the rest is fine. Its proximity based, the closer you are to someone the clearer they appear, and its only useful at a distance lf about 15ft...but for some reason the decided to make the targets visible all the time, no matter the distance. Its kinda dumb.

This stupid 6th sense BS is keeping me away from this. I love Hitman games, but I hate dumbing down tendencies. No satisfaction at all.

to be fair, all hitman games have had a sixth sense due to the map and being able to track exactly where everyone is in a level. BUT, it was an inconvenience since you had to break immersion and remove yourself from the game to check it. in this game it's maybe a bit too convenient to just press a button and see through walls, which isnt ideal, but it works quite well besides my complaint above.

Say what you want but for some people like me episodic release is the best model they could come up with. Nowadays I struggle with continuously playing long games if it's not on weekends, and a new level every 2-3 months is just perfect.
