THQ sent us a new trailer of Homefront showing the devastation in its multiplayer mode. The game is gold and ready to hit shelves on March 15.

I'm more of a Battlefield man myself, but I have to admit, that looks good - I may actually have to play a little Homefront multiplayer for a couple of weeks.

The multiplayer from Frontlines, their last game was pretty decent - needed a bit of work, but you could see where Kaos was right there at that transition point, where with extra effort, they could really push themselves into the limelight in a major way. Hopefully, Homefront will be that game. And multiplayer that looks like it borrowed enough from Modern Warfare, which is both a good and bad thing, could be what seals the deal for many gamers.

Looking forward to this one.

Hard to shake the creeping suspicion that this game will be just as rough around the edges as FFOW. KAOS has such a good handle on so many elements of the team multiplayer stuff, but it's the fundamentals that made their last game difficult for me to properly enjoy. Things like movement and gunplay were just extremely rough.

Hooray another shooter.Mind you i don't have to buy it unless it's very good.I wonder how many people live just for shooters alone.I mean there is only a handfull of truly excellent ones out there so do these people buy all of these games and decide after if they like them or not

Too much of anything soon gets boring so i'm very picky, choosing only what's marked down as standing out from the crowd- with exceptions i guess

And with all that said, i think i'm just getting bored with most genres these days.We are just effecively playing the same thing with perhaps some clever twist is all.FPS can at least still feel fresh ot at least there is room for it to grow. It's at that stage i might that a lot of original gamers may just retire back to playing most of the original games they loved or stop altogether - how many twin stick shooters do we have to endure on xbox live for example. At least we have Minecraft i say

I predict gamers that have been there from the start are starting to get a little bored these days and the more casual newer types will at least allow this industry to continue for a while.Games need to change because the majority of them are actually quite boring unless they're something other than a simple twist on existing templates

all these modern day FPS games are look the same. Haven't seen a single advert for this game, all over the interenet Crysis 2 is being advertised which is released on the same day.

Game looks pretty fast paced, but that maybe more down the the video editting

Looks like a mash of CoD gunplay and vehicles.

Crysis 2 is released a week after this one. This one releases on march 15, Crysis March 24 (in Europe that is)
and i wonder which one people will choose over the other...lol, yeah, i'd say homefront is doomed.

Homefront is definitely not launching at a good time.. with the BF3 hype kicking into gear, and plenty of really compeditive stuff launching in the same window. FFOW had the same issue.

evry fps multiplayer will sell well now days, that's why there are so many, and not that differen from eachother, cod is dominating the multiplayer market, and evry developer aim making the same think over and over, safest way to make ££$$ witch is shame for as the gamers.

I think the game looks pretty cool.

MAG + Frontlines + Battlefield with MW gunplay feeling which I personally love.

Too bad no MP demo though, would be nice to try it out first.

Well, according to THQ, this game has the highest pre-order count ever for a game published by THQ.
It's still going to be £17.99 by the first week of April

By that I mean how the weapons animate when shooting, reloading, and seems to feel when aiming around. And the on screen XP font looks like MW as well.
